  • "Seacoast is a very nice cottage to stay in."

It is beautifully decorated with very high quality furnishings throughout, and the owners have provided everything one could possibly want while on holiday. Eileen (the caretake) was extremely friendly and helpful, and Richard the owner contacted us personally as well and so we knew there were people we would be able to contact if needed. The views are gorgeous from all the front windows, and it is lovely being able to walk to the beach from the house. Castlerock has a few small shops so we could pick up things like milk without having to get in the car. There are beautiful places to visit nearby: we loved walking up to the headland above Castlerock to see the sunset, and the views from Binevenagh (just 20 minutes in the car) are breathtaking. We would certainly like to go back, as it is such a lovely cottage and we have only scratched the surface of places to visit nearby.

Hi Alison - we're delighted you had such a good first visit to Seacoast Cottage! We love Castlerock as an area to stay ourselves and yes, those views from the back windows never grow old! Hope to be able to welcome you back before too long. Richard & Catherine Property Owner

  • "Seacoast has everything one could wish for with a clean, contemporary and comfortable interior."

The view is excellent from the heart of the house which is a large kitchen/ dining room and two of the bedrooms. A garden with views, furniture and barbecue is an attractive addition for adults, children and dogs alike. The Castlerock beach, which is within half a mile of seacoast is clean and sandy..

This was the most comfortable and well equipped self catering property that we've stayed in. The owners have thought of everything to make it a home from home. The view from the house was spectacular from every room at the rear of the property. We really appreciated the lovely welcome pack and warmest of welcomes from Eileen. Communication from the owner, Richard was excellent from the time of booking. We hope to return.

  • "This house is beautiful and the views are stunning!"

The owners have thought of everything and more! What a great place to holiday in! Castlerock itself has some great facilities including a luxury chocolate shop selling handmade chocolates as well as all sorts of chocolate related gifts, an award winning burger ‘van’, a shop selling beach supplies and a train station with trains going to Belfast in one direction and Derry/Londonderry in the other along the most beautiful coastal route I have ever been on. The beaches are stunning and there are plenty of really good walks from the house. The best accolade I could give it is that I will definitely go back!

The house is just so comfortable and is in the most perfect location. We where able to walk the dogs on the beach every day and the beach in Castlerock is one of the best in Northern Ireland in my opinion. Just loved it and plan to be back next year. Mary M September 2021.

We were met with a warm welcome from the manager who showed us where everything was. This cottage is stylish, comfortable, and well kitted out on the inside and the location to the beach, shops and local pub is very close. The views out of the back of the cottage are beautiful. We liked it so much that we have booked for next year.

  • "We loved the central location, being able to walk down to the coffee hut every morning for breakfast and down to the beach on a sunny day."

We loved the views and enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from the bedroom and listening to the sound of the waves crashing in on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, I was even able to bake a birthday cake. Beds were very comfortable. The garden was great for our dog and the barbecue area is a great place to eat on a sunny day. All in all a great relaxing holiday with every need catered for.

  • "We had a lovely stay in Seacoast cottage."

Definitely the best holiday home we have stayed in over the many years we have been holidaying in Castlerock. The house is modern, extremely clean, bright with lovely furnishings and so well equipped . The best feature though is the amazing view from the kitchen overlooking the golf course and ocean. It was that impressive we booked for next year.. Eileen was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a pleasant surprise. I would like to thank Richard For being very accommodating when I messaged him with queries and for giving us the opportunity to stay in his lovely comfortable home. We look forward to next year!

  • "Seacoast Cottage is simply superb!"

From the moment Eileen welcomed us we felt right at home in this most comfortable and stylish house. It has been refurbished to the highest standard and is fully equipped to ensure a real home from home experience.Waking up to stunning views over the golf course and sea towards Donegal one way and Portstewart the other was a joy and we loved to watch the waves crash and the golfers tee off in the morning before heading out to explore. Castlerock has many beautiful walks on the beach and forest right on the doorstep or is a short drive to all the beautiful North Coast has to offer. We highly recommend this place and we will certainly be back.

  • "Really appreciated warm welcome from Eileen and welcome pack provided."

Cottage very comfortable, clean and well equipped with wonderful views over the golf course to the beach. It was also great to be so near the station for train trips to Belfast and Derry/ Londonderry. The welcome book also gave us lots of useful information from the working of the appliances to suggested places of interest near by. Even the weather was good with a fair amount of sunshine and only a few showers!! We would love to go back possibly in summer moths when we could make more use of the surfing / sea and beach.

The property exceeded our expectations in so many ways... From the beautiful coastal views, to the amazingly comfortable beds and not to mention all the thoughtful little details... Richard (our host) has thought of everything! The cottage is fitted out to a very high standard and no expense has been spared to make it the fabulous property it is. I would recommend Seacoast Cottage without hesitation to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on the North Coast. We were sad to leave and are missing the stunning views already. The house is in an excellent location with shops and the beautiful white sandy beach within walking distance. The breathtaking views from the back of the house are priceless. The rooms are airy spacious and the house is actually much bigger than what it looks from the outside. My family and I had a wonderful stay and everything was just so well thought out, from the laundry room having hangers for wetsuits to dry, to board games for rainy days... just brilliant. We loved it and highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it!!
