"Super cosy accommodation for a week."
Lovely quiet situation and everything we needed. We are from Edinburgh and we were attending a family wedding in Ballymena so the cottage was perfect for us. Thank you to our host Damian who was very kind. Lots of goodies on the kitchen table and the loan of an iron and ironing board too so we could dress up for the Big Day. You will soon find out more about the history of the cottage from a very special book about the local poet who once lived here. Perhaps you will be inspired to write one too? Say goodbye to the wee birds, cattle and sheep before you leave.....

"We had a great stay."
It’s a quiet location, with two friendly sheep in the field nearby. The owner is friendly and helpful and had a wonderful sunflower and wildflower field for charity to look round.
The cottage is clean and cosy and has everything you need. My sons loved the dining table which converted into a pool table - we all had a go.
Portglenone is fairly centrally placed to see lots of places, and there is plenty to see. We went to the Antrim coast to see castles and lovely long sandy beaches.
We recommend a stay.

"An excellent property for us - provided a great base for trips to the coast and locally."
The pool table was great fun on a rainy afternoon. We enjoyed watching the cows and sheep and being surrounded by countryside. Damian had thought of everything we needed - and his welcome basket full of locally produced goodies was the best we've ever had! I'm a now a Tayto fan! A great stay.

"Great location, spacious, enjoyed the facilities and games."
This is the place to be if you want to be central to all the main attractions in county Antrim. Also a very quiet countryside area. Your nearest neighbors are some cows and two very friendly cats. Would recommend this cottage without any hesitations.

The cottage was well equipped, with comfortable beds. It was nice and quiet. My dog and granddaughter enjoyed the cattle and playing in the fields. Damien allowed my daughter and granddaughter to drive his tractor, much to their delight. We would stay there again without a doubt.

"This was a lovely clean clean comfortable cottage, the owner was very friendly and helpful."
The only improvements I would suggest would be better kitchen equipment e.g oven dishes and wooden spoons and a frying pan usable on the induction hob. But we loved our stay and would stay again.
Thanks glad you enjoyed your stay. Oven dishes now supplied and wooden spoons. Oven is not induction so current pans are suitable.

It is in a lovely rural location and central for exploring Northern Ireland, Easy reach of Belfast, Antrim coast and further Derry. Facilities such as shops and a good pub/restaurant in Portglenone. There is everything you need for self catering but one or two small items missing such as a colander.
The owner was friendly and helpful but not intrusive.
In all a lovely place and we would return and recommend to friends and family
