Nelly's Chalet is a charming, detached holiday home resting in the Heart of the Gaeltacht and set between two of Donegal's golden sandy beaches Magheroarty and Ballyness with Tory and Inishbofin Islands just off the coast offering guests some delightful day trips that are available all year round!
This property is not only ideal for families and friends, but it also has space for four-legged travelling companions!

Once the day comes to a close you can find three tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double is located on the ground floor, with an additional double and twin on the first floor.

Completing the interior of this charming chalet is a sleek shower room, equipped with a walk-in shower, providing a refreshing space to prepare for the day ahead.

My trip was just myself and my 2 furbabies (Black Labradors 2 & 7yo)!
We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The outdoor space was great as was the scenery. My only criticisms would be: 1 - Give the Chalet an enclosed space for dogs to be off lead (the bigger house has this) as the chalet is on a main road and the garden bushes have gaps that can lead straight onto the busy forecourt of the Eurospar. Maybe fence off the perimeter of the chalet? 2 - An outside bin for disposing of poops! I kept a neat, bagged pile outside but I would have preferred somewhere to dispose of them there and then. Other than these suggestions, this was a great trip. My dogs were not bothered by traffic noise as we heard NOTHING! Not even cars of other guests coming up the drive, yet at home, a bird flaps its wings and my two bark! This was a welcomed treat for me!! Peaceful in every sense of the word! Our favourite beach to visit was Killahoey where we played frisbee. We had a seal watch briefly as my two splashed in the water and fetched the frisbee. The Eurospar has a great selection of foods and you will likely find anything you crave or need there.
We stayed for 5 nights.
The house was perfect, perfectly clean, modern and had everything we needed, great parking and garden. Beds were clean, clean towels and bathroom toiletries. Its in a beautiful area, quiet and close to everything. The owners were very helpful when we arrived, with keys, directions etc. Locals were lovely and friendly. It was a great property to stay in. We had two dogs. It was perfect for them as well. When we arrived you would never have know if there had been other pets before us. Everything was presented well and clean. There was one evening we couldn't work out how to turn on the heating. Thank you.
