Alternatively for a city day out, venture to the nearby city of Londonderry / Derry; uncover the city walls, take a stroll along the River Foyle, and browse the shops and eateries found in the centre.

Be sure to also experience the Museum of Free Derry, where you can learn all about the civil rights movement and troubles in Northern Ireland, before ambling along The Peace Bridge.
