The property itself was of an excellent standard, in a good location, boasting fabulous views down to the sea.
Notes in the house could do with a little updating, particularly around waste recycling etc., rather than having to leave everything inside until departure - no external waste bins. Completed a few simple DIY bits while there as there wasn't a contact number in the event of issue. What I fixed were niggles rather than anything substantial. That said, the house was clean, modern and very well appointed - heat pump, comfortable furniture, lovely kitchen, island for meals, American fridge with ice and filtered water. For any perspective visitors - Glass recycling is over in the industrial estate by NCT Test Facility, and local stores offer Re-Return on plastic bottles/cans - the rest stays in the house. All in all a lovely trip to Gweedore (weather a mixed bag as always appears the case with Coastal Donegal) - a fine property to base yourself in while there. Thanks.
The cottage was beautiful, very comfortable, great views, great location.
April was our second visit to Cottage Catriona within 5 months and this time we could not have hit much better weather.
House is brilliant with everything you need, centrally located to beach, shops, pub / restaurant. Will definitely look forward to getting back again.
