Hidden Gem Cottage

Hidden gem is in a beautiful location.

House was clean and well equipped Freezer would be a great asset to the house. Also an emersion heater would be good,had to put heating on for warm water We had a couple of days with rain, the house seemed to have a lot of wormy like things creeping up the walls and in the house not sure if this was to do with the rain. Fiona was very helpful and very accomodating.

Lovely little cottage, quite tricky to find, might be useful to use the Sweeney shop as a landmark on intructions.

No facility for washing or drying clothes other than basic dryer in one bedroom. ( not much space for washing machine but may be helpful for future guests)No wardrobes or chairs in bedrooms to put clothes on which may be useful. Decorater appeared one day to pain the cottage (which is for sale, for sale sign outside) may have been good to have some warning of this, As we returned to find work going on on outside of house which we hadn't expected. Overall a lovely wee cottage an a very pleasant stay.

Great location for accessing the coast of Donegal.

A lovely home to stay in, very clean, warm and tidy ( we stayed mid April so still plenty of cold nights).

Eamonn and Fiona very obliging and friendly. The bed is very comfortable and huge (super king size). Great area for walking or cycling breaks. Thank you

A very pleasant little cottage tucked away in the woods but very close to the coast and local facilities.

The description was not wholly accurate in that the beds were not King Size, alhtough they were otherwise comfortable. There was a TV in every room. There was no freezer or freezing compartment in the fridge which was a felt ommission. Overall, though, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Just needs a few more dishes in the place and a microwave otherwise first class and a credit to the owners :-) would definitely stay again

It was clean and comfortable but it advertised king size beds there was only standard double beds a bit I’d a let down .

Both beds could use mattress toppers , I felt a bit like Goldilocks. Beautiful spot to stay really enjoyed our time there

Really enjoyed the Hidden Gem Cottage, the directions given by the owner were great.

,the house was lovely but we had no WiFi which was advertised as being part of the service and paid for. The people in the cottage next door had been given the modem that was meant to be in our cottage and it was shared between both cottages. Unfortunately as I it didn't reach us, it meant we had none. The owner said he would ask the people next door to give it back but we never got it and he should have ensured it was in the cottage.

Beautiful quiet location very relaxing holiday good location for walking the bluestack mountains and other mountains beaches nearby cycle routes there as well very suitable for a family holiday

This was the most relaxing holiday I have had.

The cottage as it names suggests is an absolute gem. It is situated in a wonderful location and offers everything I needed for a great holiday.

Would loved to have stayed another week ❤️❤️ so comfy and relaxing ❤️❤️

The most comfortable cottage, just off the N56, was ideally situated for exploration of Co.

Donegal. Easy access to local beaches and on direct route for further destinations. The shame was that we were limited to only a week's stay. Provisions easily obtainable from nearby Dungloe. The owner, Eammon is most helpful and easily contacted. We shall be back! Maura and Peter. Co. Wesford.

If you want a little piece of heaven on earth this hidden gem cottage is the perfect place to go,from arrival we were greeted with wine and biscuits it was fabulously equipped with everything you need.

The kitchen and bedrooms were airy and spotless. The peace and tranquility was amazing. It's the best cottage we ever rented and we will definitely be back. Give it a go you will be astonished and will not want to leave. Pat and Joan Daly,Buttevant,Co Cork.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful (surprisingly roomy) little cottage.

It is a lovely, relaxing, comfortable cottage and the owners have equipped it with everything you might need. I would highly reccomend Hidden Gem Cottage!
