The house was very handy for fabulous beaches and villages.
It was clean and fairly well supplied (couldn't find a pan and brush but apart from that, had everything). My only constructive comment would be to make it clear it is very close to another house (there was no-one there at the time I stayed so wasn't an issue in the end but it would have affected my decision) and the lack of any chairs / table to sit outside. The weather was good but there was literally nothing to use to sit outside at the back and enjoy the sun. The kitchen chairs weren't ideal for taking out. That was a big issue for me - I've been coming to this area for 16 years and never not had an outdoor space - especially given there was no sun room. But overall it was good.
Wonderful holiday and great accommodation.
Would certainly recommend it and when next we are in Donegal would stay again. Cottage was clean and comfortable and plenty of kitchen equipment. Heating was a little confusing but we found out how to use it on the last night.
Comfortable home, ideal for a family holiday .
Short walk or drive to the stunning beach at Carrickfinn and a small everyday shop. The walk to the front door is very steep and would not be good for elderly or disabled renters. If a family renting with children the bedroom with single beds is down stairs and two doubles upstairs. If I had children I would prefer them to be on the same level as myself..I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. The downstairs bathroom could benefit from the bath sealant around tile to be renewed from a aesthetic point of view.
