We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dromore house.
The setting was peaceful and tranquil and the garden was perfect for our pet Labrador. Accommodation was comfortable and clean and facilities adequate for our needs. Location is was very good for accessing nearby beaches and two small shops/ supermarkets are within 5 mins drive. Having our dog with us proved restrictive when requiring food from a restaurant or café as the vast majority were not dog friendly. For those wanting an escape from life's pressures in beautiful surroundings then look no further!
Lovely property.
We stayed from 13/07/2026 to 20/07/2026. The views are breath-taking. The host, Ann, was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. There is a second WC though it doesn't mention this in the original listing. We were lucky to get good weather and were able to take the 15 minute drive to Downings a few times on the holiday. Pure white beach and crystal clear water, absolutely gorgeous. Sitting out at Drumore House at night, surrounded by rolling hills and a direct view of the lake was heavenly. We will be back!
An excellent and comfortable place to stay when enjoying the North West of Donegal.
A stunning view every morning, great location close to local beaches and amenities and Ann the host could not be more helpful. A very good place for a family gathering. We would definitely stay again
