To get to this property you will pass some of the most beautiful scenery in the world surround by hunting valleys and lakes, the grandeur of Mount Errigal and Muckish with its distinctive flat-topped, standing proud around every corner of the road from the Glenveagh to Dungloe.
The house looks out over Loughanure Lake and here you can canoe or kayak and experience the beauty of the surrounding countryside from waterfalls and small ravines shadowed by the mountains and heather.
At night you can walk to the local pub which is right next door for food and music or simply relax on the private patio area and enjoy a BBQ while the children enjoy the enclosed playground in garden.
Dungloe is 8km from the house and has lots of supermarkets, shops restaurants hotels and pubs.
A short drive from the house will take you to beaches, walking and cycling routes.
There are also great eateries in the area for that special night out with the family, such as Leos Traven (5KM) owned by the family of the world-famous singers Clannad and Enya.
Danny Minnies Restaurant (4KM) is a long established, award winning restaurant on the road from the beautiful Carrickfin beach with a blue flag status.
The house also is just 8Km from Donegal International Airport which is serviced daily from Dublin and Glasgow City airport
A day trip to Glenveagh National Park is most, you can walk to Glenveagh Castle from the Visitors centre or take and minibus.
Alone the lake and enjoy the castle tour and the walled gardens and after have a break with a cuppa & home bakes in the small courtyard café.
