  • "We had -once again- a lovely stay at Tullyally."

We stayed for the first time in 2020 and were so impressed that we decided to come back with the whole family that flew in from Germany specifically for this holiday. We stayed with 6 adults, one child and two babies and the property was perfect for us. It had everything we could possibly need and more. It was clean and in very good condition and made the perfect base for a great holiday. We are already planning our next stay :)

Having the second sitting room was great, it meant my 91 yr dad could watch his sports and my sister & I enjoyed other channels. The house was very central, lots to explore in the area. It was lovely to return to warm home after a day out. Thank you. Pat

Sharon and Seamus the owners were fantastic nothing was to much trouble, they keep in touch to see if everything is ok which it was. It is so peaceful and quiet which is what We wanted, there is a hotel, pub and post office within walking distance anything else you need you can get in Moville. When you come back after a day out you get a greeting from spot the collie which is lovely, We enjoyed every minute of Our stay and would go back again anytime. We would highly recommend this property to anyone as it is absolutely fabulous and it feels like home not just a holiday rental.

  • "We ve recently returned from a four week stay at Tullyally and it went far too quickly."

We d previously stayed for two weeks so the fact that we doubled the length of our stay there is a recommendation in itself. The house is spacious and welcoming with excellent facilities. It was the perfect place to be re-united with family and friends after the pandemic. It is situated on the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula. Wonderful restaurants, stunning beaches, ancient sites are all within easy reach. Grianan Aileach is an excellent place to view the peninsula and the Donegal Ferris are a fun way to explore the surrounding areas. Any necessary shopping can be done in Moville, Carndonagh or Derry. Sharron and Seamus were the perfect hosts A big thank you to them. There is one slight problem with the property however. The vista! Lough Foyle is truly magnificent and it s beauty is ever changing. No matter whether it s rain or shine the Foyle is so beguiling that sometimes it is difficult to drag yourself away from it to enjoy the other delights on offer in Co. Donegal. We look forward to our return.

Sharron was welcoming and very helpful . The weather was a bit changeable but we enjoyed the area and scenery, we went as far as the Glenveagh National Park through stunning mountain scenery, and had a great day. Malin Head was rugged and scenic . We felt quite sad to be leaving this lovely cottage and area.

  • "An outstanding property in an outstanding area of great beauty."

The house was cosy and inviting but spacious. We were three couples celebrating 50 years of friendship and Tullyalley provided everything that we wanted. And more. We enjoyed being in the house as it was perfect for relaxation and celebration. Stunning views of the Foyle and the:mountains beyond. On leaving the house there was a bewildering choice of beautiful beaches/ first -class restaurants/ archaeological sites/country walks. Within easy reach of Derry for major shopping but the little seaside town of Moville offered every facility. The final accolade must go to Sharon. A warm welcome at the beginning of our stay and a chat and wave at the end. She made our stay as perfect as possible. One day we met her in town and mentioned that we were looking for a vase. When we got back to the house two beautiful vases were on the doorstep. Thanks again Sharon. We hope to be back soon.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage."

The owner Sharron was extremely helpful and helped us when we run out of food, by picking up stuff from the supermarket when we run out as we did not hire a car, we relied on taxis for this holiday. The Cottage overlooks beautiful countryside with wonderful views over the lake and we spent hours on the veranda looking over the lake. The house itself is very spacious with a very large kitchen diner and a separate front room so the 6 of us had separate spaces when we needed to separate. Sharron the owner was very helpful in putting on the heating on early for us when we felt a bit chilly one evening. She gave us advice about local buses and places of interest and helped organise a taxi minibus to take us all around to the various tourist attractions. It was also great to chat to her son Mark and we enjoyed having their dog greet us whenever we came back to the cottage. Those who stay in the Cottage should probably hire a car because the nearest town is Movile which has shops and a supermarket and please be aware that the roads are countryside roads so there are no pavements to walk on and the speeds are 80 km. We would recommend the Cottage as a beautiful place to stay with all the amenities needed, it was spacious and clean and the owner was on hand with just a phone call away to respond to any queries. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you very much Sharron for being an excellent host.

Sharron met us and took us to the property, which might have been quite difficult to find otherwise, but was easy to find afterwards. The property was really clean and well supplied, even including a drawer full of teabags, coffee, and biscuits! It was lovely to sit with breakfast and look out over the sea. I can't wait to return when the weather is warmer to sit out on the decking!

It was very much appreciated. Little things like sharron taking time to talk to us all in the shop that she works in. There house was well laid out and suitable for all ages. And the views were stunning from very window like sitting eating dinner and watching all the ships going past was amazing as our 8 year old said. We had 12 amazing nights at this beautiful hoilday home in redcastle co donegal. On the morning when we had to head back home sharron and seamus met us to say goodbye. But before we left sharron gave our 8 year old son who suffers with seizures and has autism a pack of large playing cards just like the ones in the game show play your cards right at he had been playing with that he had found among all the toys at the holiday home it was like u had given this young boy a million pounds .we would just like to thank you's once again . Highly recommend. Everyone had a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the friendliest part on Donegal.
