What guests are saying
Location was lovely.
Cottage was very comfortable, clean and had brilliant nights' sleep. Shower was very efficient. Smart TV was brilliant, WiFi streamed fine. Few things would improve facilities - a hairdryer ( didn't realise there wouldn't be one so had to buy), small bin in bathroom rather than taking stuff through lounge to kitchen. Covers for the outdoor seating when not in use as bird poo made it unusable. In kitchen the frying pan needs replacing, there are no teaplates, and a microwaveable bowl and jug would have been useful. All small things that would make a difference. However would happily stay again if in the area.
Lovely property owners was very friendly and said if we needed any think just let them know as it was we didn't need any think Lovely relaxing stay
Good cottage bad Wifi.
This is a lovely little cottage, but there are some issues which may seriously impact some guests. The house is perfectly cosy and I am sure it will be lovely in the winter (good central heating and little cast iron stove). The house has three levels - the bedrooms are upstairs and in the basement level, which gives lots of privacy. The kitchen is tiny, and is sparce on kitchen utensils. However, the kitchen is perfectly useable. The real problem is the Wifi - which runs off the 3 network.when tested it appears to give a good speed - but its not stable enough for watching the TV in the evening, nor will it permit zoom calls. This seriously impacted us, as two of our party had to work for a couple of days during our week.
