"Comfortable house in beautiful surroundings."
However, instead of using aroma sticks in all rooms, more care should be taken with cleaning. The oven and all the baking trays were very dirty so these things could not be used.
Also there was a disgustingly smelling vacuum cleaner in the utility room that had probably never been emptied and cleaned since it was put into operation. We did this by ourselve because otherwise we would not have been able to use the room and the vacuum cleaner.
We also needed to clean the dryer‘s condenser before using.
Unfortunately we couldn’t get in touch with the four contact persons listed.

"Curhoor was a beautiful house in a lovely quiet setting."
The house was immaculate with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Whilst there, we visited nearby Loughrea a couple of times, ventured into Galway City and had a lovely walk at Coole Nature Reserve which has a great cafe. Overall a fantastic week

We had the best 7 days staying here, the house was just stunning, from the beautiful setting too the interior, we had frosty nights & the house was so warm & cozy, my 2 senior pugs adored the underfloor heating, the layout is brill, wifi was excellent, showers were perfect, smart tv is a great touch, after arriving we were thrilled too make friends with the 2 beautiful donkeys also, we treated them 2 daily carrot visits, on our last morning we got 2 see wild deer grazing right outside the windows, it was magical, we really didnt want too leave, beautiful house, beautiful location, we hope too get back again soon

"We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at Curhoor."
The house was beautiful - very clean, comfortable and warm with lovely picturesque windows. It is nestled in a cosy country setting which we loved. There were two lovely donkeys in the field outside our kitchen window. The cottage is beautifully presented with lot of towels etc at hand.
The only thing we could have done with one higher easy chair. We had an elderly person with mobility issues in our group and had to use a bedroom chair with cushions on top to give them a little ease. Also the twin bedroom could do with an extra chair.
We would love to use this house again but would travel at a better time of year when tourist facilities in the surrounding areas were open e.g. Athenry Castle. Most tourit facilities are closed until mid March or April.

"Beautiful cottage and every facility required for a perfect break."
We were blessed with gorgeous hot sunny weather.
Two comments I would make is - 1. clearer directions and visible name at end of drive, especially for people arriving in the dark. 2. Please leave a small carton of milk, instead of crisps, wine, and cake.
The brightness of the cottage was wonderful, but seating too low for older patrons.
But would recommend this cottage to anyone.

"Beautiful property with everything you need."
We loved the setting with all the trees around and were especially happy to see the visiting deer in the fields next to the house almost every day. If you're after peace and relaxation this property provides it.
A ten minute drive from Loughrea so a car is needed.
Thanks so much Daniel we are delighted you enjoyed your stay in Curhoor.

"The cottage was a lovely place to stay in ."
We loved the building it was beautifully done . Everything was immaculate
I have already mentioned the following to the owner .
The direction were impossible to follow as they dont even give a starting point . When we got the sat nav working we still could not see the property from the road .
The property was beautifully dressed but lacked a lot of basic self catering equipment . Such as serving dishes etc etc The owner did bring us a coffee maker and colander . I left a long list of missing items . Not as a complaint but as advice . I am sure this has been sorted by now .
A beautiful house to stay in .
Thanks so much for your feedback Gillian we have taken your points on board and rectified same .

"Our stay in the the cottage in Curhoor was outstanding!"
The cottage is absolutely stunning, like a show house, exactly like the pictures. Its been completed to an extremely high standard. Had everything we needed for our stay which consisted of 2 adults and 4 kiddies. The house was very comfortable and was imacutately clean. Having Netflix on the tv was a hit in the evenings when everyone was tired. Its a quiet area which was really nice, you do need a car to stay here. Its about a 10 minute drive to Loughrea which has plenty of shops and nice restaurants and roughly 40 minutes spin to Galway city.
The basket of goodies was well received by our tired hungry smallies when we arrived and much appreciated Dolores. We couldn't fault anything and will be back again if you'll have us. We still have loads of sight seeing yet to do in Galway. Many thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage with us.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review Una , of course we will welcome you back anytime ye left the house immaculate.
We are delighted ye enjoyed your stay in Curhoor it really is a special place. Hopefully see ye soon
