A cosy old farmhouse with a lovely garden and great views of the surrounding mountains.

The house is clean and well kept, conveniently situated on 2 kilometers from the lovely village of Sneem. We enjoyed every moment here!

Un dépaysement total. Noël & Mary sont très sympa et à l'écoute. 15 jours de soleil, splendide mais qui ont amené des moucherons pénibles. On ne peut pas tout avoir,... Petit bémol, frigo trop petit et sans congélateur pour une capacité de 6 personnes. Nous aurons un excellent souvenir de ce lieu idyllique. Nadine & Didier, Patricia & Guy

We had an incredible stay here - the house itself was beautiful, clean and very well maintained.

The surrounding area is gorgeous and the views from the house are spectacular, particularly from the kitchen. Our dog was also welcome, which was a great amenity that meant we could travel with him! Our stay was perfect and we hope to be back.

Ideal property for the area, very clean and tidy with all the essentials available.

Lovely views from the kitchen / dining room windows. Useful having 2 bathrooms with family. We would return for more mountain walking!

It is far better than the photos imply. Every window offers the most superb view. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The owner is kind and friendly and met us on arrival to explain how cottage worked. The weather was sunny all week and we enjoyed the bonus is a fantastic display of Northern Lights, A lovely tranquil place, we were sorry to leave.

Fantastic views of the mountains, great place to stay in a very quiet location

We stayed a very pleasant 5 nights and can confirm that this is a very clean and well appointed holiday cottage.

It's a lovely old house that was been very tastefully brought up to date. Lovely beds and mattresses. We only paid €10 for electricity over 5 nights but used the woodburner which heats radiators and left the storage heaters switched off. We use woodburners at home, and are very experienced with them. The views are stunning and it's a beautiful, peaceful location. The kids loved being at Whitestrand beach about 12 miles away which we found safe and well-sheltered with small waves. Sneem is a lovely village with a friendly Resource Centre and all the basics. There are stunning mountains just north of the house and village and one peak, Knocknagantee, at c 650m, has an easy hiking track almost to its summit, suitable for all ages, but please do ask the track owner first. We would have loved to spend longer here and certainly hope to stay again!

The external ones make the gravelled area around the house appear huge. More significantly, the views from the cottage are stupendous but can barely be seen in the provided photos. Most places provide a handbook with key information and instructions. There was very little here with nothing about, for example, operation of log-burner, disposal of rubbish, stripping beds. There were some additional items of kitchen equipment that would have been helpful, for example a draining rack, a scourer, a normal sized grater. We were also surprised that there were no supplies in the kitchen, such as sugar, coffee, tea. We also ran out of logs and were unable to chop our own as the axes were both blunt.

A really enjoyable stay in this beautiful secluded cottage.

Great amenities and loved the outdoor seating areas. A little gem. Sneem not too far away but not close enough to walk safely on a busy road.

The interior needs a little updating and possibly look at inside heating elements.

But other than that the host was very accommodating in not charging the Electricity rates for the days we were not there as my son was unwell and we arrived two days later. But I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the contract of fees being charged for electricity which was bit of a surprise when host mentioned it verbally upon our arrival. The holiday home was spotless, floors, bathrooms, bedrooms, linen, showers etc which was a pleasant change from other AirBnB's we have stayed at. It was comfortable for our stay and we enjoyed our time there.

A wonderful cottage.

It has everything you would need for a relaxing stay- quality beds, linens, cookware, crockery. The woodburner is excellent and such a bonus. Huge sofa and 2 armchairs. Television. The location is beautiful with scenery to lift your heart. Sneem has individual shops, post office, bakery, supermarket, pubs and a lovely restaurant. Mary T is a great hostess and nothing is too much trouble- a lovely person. I recommend this cottage 100%

A lovely cosy, well equipped cottage in the most beautiful setting.

What's not to love about this place! We definitely plan on returning.

Location was perfect, out in the country but only an easy 5 mins from Sneem, and the view from the kitchen window was breathtaking. Really appreciated the welcoming fire that was lit for us.

The cottage has all the things that are needed for a perfect holiday.

Great location, very nice host (Mrs O'Sullivan took us personally to the location and explained everything is a very nice way), cottage was clean. In the kitchen we found everything we needed. Enough towels, toilet paper, etc. No reccommendation there.. The only thing that was not perfect for us was the bed, the mattrass of the room we were staying in sort of had a "whole" in the middle, so you would both roll to the middle and not be able to lie comfortably. Other then that we had a great time.

It wasa holiday to remember.
