Description

Lauragh 1 mile.

This wonderful house overlooking Glenmore River and Kenmare Bay is located on the Beara Peninsula and Wild Atlantic Way, in County Kerry.

Well-furnished and with plenty of space on offer, this property will make an ideal base for family and friends to discover the South West of Ireland.

With a king-size double bedroom plus a twin room upstairs and a ground floor double on the ground floor all looking out to the bay, everyone will be well catered for.

Also downstairs is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area that comes complete with a solid fuel stove, perfect for keeping your group together while dinner is being rustled up and whilst tomorrow’s plans are being made.

On a sunny day, go outside and sit with a cool drink while looking out at the stunning landscape, whilst the children run around burning off all that excess energy.

While staying in the area you must explore the Beara Peninsula and its 121 mile Ring of Beara with great walks to be had, along with amazing scenery and beaches.

Head inland to the town of Kenmare, overlooking the gleaming Atlantic Ocean.

Full of character and home to farmers' markets, galleries, lovely little boutiques and a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs for you to sample with good traditional Irish music being played.

Also within reach is Kenmare Diving Centre, which is located on Kilmacalogue pier, and close by is the Star Outdoors Adventure Centre, where you will find a wide range of land and water activities.

Go further and check out Killarney and its National Park or do a loop of the Ring of Kerry and take in some of the amazing scenery on the Wild Atlantic Way.

An excellent destination that will be the starting point for a wonderful Irish getaway.

This is the second time we have been to this cottage and has got even better than before if that is possible.

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location in first rate accommodation. The cottage is extremely clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending this cottage and the location. Thank you for enabling us to have a first class holiday.

overall the stay was good place was very clean, there was a problem with the wet room shower on the ground floor where it was discovered the water wasnt draining away and flooded the bathroom!

, however a quick call to owner sinead, and her dad who cleaned the drain, sorted that, one other problem was the discovery of ants inside, however i gather its an ongoing problem which can be dealt with quickly due to location, otherwise very good !
