We had a wonderful time at Canal Cottage.

It had everything we could have wished for except for a bathroom stool as my husband has a health issue. However, I know the owners would have sorted this minor problem if we had asked. The back garden is completely secure which was great for the dog. The kitchen facilities were very good and the beds very comfortable. Ironing board, iron, washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge with excellent ice box together with hairdryer and tongs all supplied. Would recommend this accommodation for all ages including families. Health permitting we would be back in a flash.

Cottage was lovely and the situation was perfect for a relaxing "away from it all" break.

For those with a doggy companion, the secure garden and walks available from the doorstep were a real benefit, and the doggy toys/beds provided were great (even though the bed was on the small side for a GSD he still tried to curl up on it but actually preferred the warm underfloor slates!)
