  • "Loved our stay at White Cottage."

    It was perfect as a base for exploring Dingle Peninsula area and also for areas to the north and west. The cottage itself was clean and roomy. Having a washer and dryer was great! The two folders were very helpful, especially the one with manufactures' details. We had never seen a dryer with a "catch basin" for water. When the dryer wasn't working properly, it was handy to have specific details and diagrams to show symbols, where the container was located, and how to empty it. The Leems Hotel in Abbeyfeale had wonderful food and Irish coffee! Glad that was one of the folder recommendations.

  • "Back for a second year."

    Still as beautiful as last year. We have lots of family here so it's a perfect location. The house is warm, clean and cosy. Our 8 year old granddaughter loved all the outdoor space. We were very lucky with the weather. Our 95 year old dad who was born around here loved his time back. Hopefully we will be bringing him back here next year. We are sad to leave.

    Your cottage is like home from home. It is so cosy, clean and has everything we need. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for putting us in contact with lovely neighbours who had connections to my family. This totally made our holiday. Still can't believe my great grandmother used to live in the field opposite. We will definitely be back again to the beautiful "White Cottage" we've had a fabulous time!

    1.) Owners did not meet but who needs to (10) 2.) Cleanliness perfect, spotless (10) 3.) Attention to detail: we booked a self catering cottage that is what we got. Everthing we needed well set out information. (10) 4.) Decoration - I know where quite a few things were bought from its how it is put together thats what makes a house a home. (10) Well done to both of you. Hopefully we will be back in February 2026 would definitely recommend you!

    We come from the Glens of Anteim to visit a friend & what a beautiful home to be able to bring our friend to! Inviting, cosy and so homely. Beds so comfy. Plenty of everything we needed.     It was a cozy home base that welcomed us each night when we returned from a day of touring. Very well stocked of everything we needed and provided clear instructions for all aspects of the equipment so we could make full use of the facilities. Very organized. Lots of added niceties. I even picked up a book to read in the evening in the comfy kitchen chair! Thanks for the wonderful home!

  • "We absolutely adored the cottage!"

    The surprisingly central location makes every sight in south western Ireland reachable with two hours or less drive. We got to see so many things, different cities like Limerick, Cork, heard interesting stories about Ireland's history at the Mizen Head Lighthouse, Drombeg Stone Circle, Cliffs of Moher and Dingle. Thanks to Ballybunion, we also had two amazing beach days! The cottage made all these trips possible and felt incredibly homy when coming back after a long day. The little things like oil or salt that everyone has at home, but always misses on holidays made the whole stay even more comfortable! The games in the garage and cabinet in the kitchen were incredibly fun, both for me and my parents. We WILL come back!

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at White Cottage and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a 'home away from home' holiday experience."

    Was so roomy, bright and airy, yet cozy at the same time! Beautiful, comfortable bedrooms. Large functional kitchen/dining room. Only challenge was in regulating hot water in the baths, but was just a minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again!

White Cottage is a lovely, white-washed cottage settled into the countryside of Ballaghbehy, 2 miles from the market town of Abbeyfeale.

With ample off-road parking and a rural location, this is an ideal base for friends and families looking for a cottage on the borders of County Limerick and Kerry.

Be welcomed into a sitting room with a magnificent fireplace and wood burning stove, and sofas to encourage you to settle down with a coffee and plan the day ahead.

When mealtimes call, the kitchen/diner offers a good selection of amenities, so why not cook up a storm and dine around the table, toasting to your getaway with a glass of fizz?

The bedrooms include a king-size room with additional sofa bed, a double bedroom and a twin.

Two bathrooms are provided including one with a bath to allow guests to enjoy a soak amongst the bubbles, and the other with a walk-in shower for ease of access.

Outside, discover a patio sitting area with BBQ, ideal for alfresco dining, plus a double garage, ideal for storing your bicycles.

Please note that the grounds are unenclosed and there is a small stream at the side and front of the land.

For amenities, head over to the town of Abbeyfeale, where there are pubs and a range of shops for all of your holiday needs.

There are a selection of fascinating historic sites throughout the local area, including Crag Cave, Listowel Castle, Ross Castle, and the Kerry County Museum in Tralee, where you can find out more about the local history and heritage.

There is also the option to visit the Flying Boat & Maritime Museum.

There are a selection of walks for guests to enjoy, ideal for birdwatching or taking in the scenery.

This includes the Limerick Greenway just a few minutes from the cottage and the town park with a walk along the river Feale.

Cyclists will enjoy the Greenway, plus there is fishing nearby on the river Feale.

Kerry Airport at Farranfore is just a 30-minute drive away, as is Ballybunion Beach on The Wild Atlantic Way.

Abbeyfeale straddles the borders of County Limerick and County Kerry, so enjoy both with a stay at White Cottage near Abbeyfeale.
