  • "Curragh Hill is lovely, spacious house with a stunning view from the living room of Croagh Patrick mountain over Clew Bay."

It is beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard. A lovely beach is about 15 minutes’ walk away and Mulranny Village with a small supermarket and plenty of opportunities to eat out is a 30-minute walk or a short drive. We plan to return next year.

Amazing view from the rear of the cottage. The cottage has everything that you need and more. Communication with the owners throughout was brilliant.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday at Curragh Hill."

The house is in the most beautiful location and the views from the living area are breathtaking. It was the perfect base for us to explore Westport and Achill. The house itself has everything you could imagine for a family, with extremely comfortable beds, plenty of fresh, fluffy towels and a modern kitchen. Bella, our host, was friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend this home from home to anyone.

Facilities are excellent and the view from sitting room of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick are wonderful. Bella our host couldn't do enough for us and although the weather wasn't the best, we can't wait to come back.

  • "Many properties are advertised as a home from home but this property really is just that."

Everything you could possibly need is provided and on top of that, everything is the best quality. We had such a fabulous time exploring the stunning surroundings but loved returning to the comforts of the cottage and the stunning continuously changing view through the huge window in the lounge. Our personal greeting on arrival was lovely and the home baked scones and wine gifts were both delicious and thoughtful. My parents never sleep as well away from home but here, they slept even better than at home! We absolutely recommend this property and area and hope to return ourselves in the near future.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Curragh Hill."

The host Bella was very welcoming and had even left some home baked scones to welcome us. The house comfortably accommodated three couples. The kitchen has everything you need but Nevins and Doherty’s nearby mean you have plenty of options to eat out locally. The house is even more pristine than the photos look. Some of us needed to do some remote work and the wi-fi was very reliable. The view out the panoramic window across the bay from the generous sized sofa is spectacular all day and especially at sunrise if you are as lucky as we were to get a few clear mornings even though we stayed in February. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautifully clean, extremely comfortable and views from the lounge window to die for. We were so lucky to meet the owners: Frankie & Bella - kind, generous & hospitable. Our thanks to them for bringing freshly caught seafood to our door - delicious.

From the moment you enter the bungalow, it's apparent that the hosts have thought if everything to make your stay memorable. It's furnished with taste, it's comfortable and lacks absolutely nothing. The view from the living room over Clew Bay is stunning - you could sit there for hours looking at the ever changing colours of the sea and mountains.

The House Curragh Hill is breathtakingly beautiful. Once you go through the front door the Cleanliness and beauty of the house is so luxurious. Walking through the kitchen to the living area / sitting room you are met with the most beautiful couches and relaxing area which is then superseded by the HUGE window which gives you the amazing view of Sea and the Mountains. This house is so so cosy and the bedrooms and bathrooms are stunning. I felt like I was staying in the most beautiful doll house and as a mum it was such a treat. The kids absolutely adored the house. My husband wants to buy the house and move to Mayo. I just want to thank Sykes cottages and Curragh hill for giving us the most memorable holiday stay which we will cherish forever. Sincere Thank you to Katie and Francis for showing us the sites of mayo. we would never have even thought of going out on a boat or imagined that the kids would even try Line Fishing, let alone enjoy the excitement of catching fish and then eating the fish. Your kindness and friendliness is exceptional and I really really do hope ye realize how great our family summer holiday 2022. Best wishes and we are definitely coming back to Mulranny and Curragh Hill, Mary Parry
