We really enjoyed a relaxing stay at Shannon Vale The house is exactly like the photos clean, modern and the host Mary Rose was friendly to deal with.

It was a good location for different day trips we took. Would definitely recommend!

We've spent a week this summer at Shannon Vale.

I'm from UK and I've picked cottage only from the picture - it looked light and inviting. The property was exactly as I was hoping it to be, very comfortable, light, spacious, well kept and very clean. It is well kitted out, and felt homely during our stay. The owner Mary Rose was in contact, checking that we have everything what we need. It's also in a lovely setting near the lake, quiet and perfect for a summer break. It's a god position for exploring Ireland. we've really enjoyed the stay, and would highly recommend Shannon Vale for trying out.

We have holidayed all over Ireland for many years and this property is by far the nicest we have stayed in. Maryrose was a pleasure to deal with, and we couldn't ask for anymore with the amenities or the peaceful countryside. Loads to do and see locally, its a beautiful part of Ireland. We could not recommend this enough. We will be back!

Beautiful elegant house and garden in idyllic rural setting within walking distance to Lough Derg.

The modern calm decor just adds to the tranquility of it all. Perfect location for exploring counties Galway, Clare, Offaly and Tipperary or for just relaxing and staying local, with Woodford and Portumna a short drive away. We received a lovely warm welcome from the host and chatted to many friendly people when out and about. Will definitely be back.

This is a gorgeous cottage which has been been so thoughtfully refurbished.

It is pristine and luxurious, and would be at home on the pages of an interior design magazine. The gardens are beautiful, with countryside views over to the Lough. Mary Rose made us feel so welcome and gave great suggestions of where to walk and lovely places to dine. This was a little piece of heaven on earth and a great place to relax and restore.

Mary Rose was the perfect host, she did a little shop for us on our first day as we were arriving in the evening.

She had good suggestions of places to visit during our two week stay. The property was spacious and maintained to a very high standard. The gardens were immaculate. Toffee and Eeyore the donkeys were our nearest neighbours and were sooo cute. The location was peaceful and idyllic and ideally situated for exploring Ireland.

Waking up to the sight of the tranquil lake and being greeted by the adorable donkeys each morning was just amazing. And the house itself? Total dreamland! Every detail, from the layout to the decor, was spot on. You could feel the love and thought put into it. Mary Rose is so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We are already planning our never visit to this little slice of paradise. Huge thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!
