What guests are saying
Loved the overall setting of Ryan's Loft.
It is in same location as Mrs Delaneys Loft and The Dairy as it shares the beautiful yard complete with quaint but unused sheds opposite. Outside all the cottages are colourful flowers, intermingled with interesting farming objects and machinery from the past. Very intriguing and rustic. Because we had a very fraught journey arriving to our cottage due to our van breaking down at the port, we were consoled by the warm welcome from Brid and her husband Fenton. Inside we enjoyed a very cosy stay with everything tastfully arranged in my opinion, peaceful surroundings and the best nights sleep we both had in a long time which was very needed after our stressful journey. Ardfinnan is literally less than a mile away and is picture postcard perfect with the castle watching keenly over it and a popular shop with an off license serving the nicest coffee I've had in a long time. History, quietness and the awesome beauty of the mountains in the distance. Thank you Ryan's Loft, thank you Ardfinnan. We shall visit and enjoy you again in the not so distant future. Contacted Sykes cottage all they wandered to say was .. I can’t get any money back.. you booked it .. so stay.. Do Not Recommend.. Don’t book this if you like to be warm..
