Betty's Farm Cottage

We had a most enjoyable few days stay at the cottage.

This was as near to perfect as could be imagined: cosy, clean and most welcoming, even with a fire lit upon our arrival. Lovely surroundings, lots of interesting farmyard activity, and helpful and friendly hosts.

Best cottage I have ever stayed in.

I have stayed in cottages as far afield as Shetland to Kent over many, many years and I can honestly say this was the best of the lot.

Without doubt the most beautiful home we've ever stayed in.

We spent a wonderful week at Betty's Farm Cottage.

The cottage is beautiful inside and out, and much bigger than we had expected....while still being very cozy by the wood stove! The place was incredibly well stocked with essentials, books and games, and we arrived to find delicious homemade soda bread and shortbread, plus fresh farm eggs, milk and butter. There were fresh cut flowers and live plants in every room. The cottage is on a working farm, so I was amazed how quiet and peaceful it was there. Plus we could enjoy watching the sheep and lambs in the fields, along with sweet Molly the horse, and multitudes of bird feeders attracted all sorts of birds we could watch. Linda and Robert were truly wonderful hosts. They answered all our many questions and suggested a beautiful little hill walk on the grounds, with spectacular views. The cottage is also very convenient to many places we wanted to visit, like Marble Arch caves and Archdale Castle. If we should decide to visit that area again, we would certainly want to stay at this cottage again!

Beautiful cottage.

Loved the soda bread, jam, milk and eggs supplied by our delightful hostesses Linda and Robert. Lovely tranquil surroundings where we had a great relaxing week. So handy to Enniskillen, Omagh, Donegal as they were all easily reached in just over 30mins to an hour. Booklet published by Linda and Robert was filled with lots of info on just about everything we would need for our stay. Out of all the cottages we have stayed in over many, many years Betty’s Farm Cottage has been definitely the very best.

I loved my stay at Betty's cottage in its very rural setting.

My hosts extended a warm and friendly welcome. Not only is the cottage beautifully furnished and decorated and comfortable but its location on the farm is both private and peaceful with the activities of the farm close by and a pleasure to witness. Sitting outside with the birdsong all around was a joy....Tempting though it was to stay there all day, The lakes Upper and Lower Erne are not far away,Enniskillen Castle museum is excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Sperrin Mountains, the Dark Sky Park in Davagh Forest, and the Beaghmore Stone Circles.

Betty's Cottage is one of the nicest places I have stayed in.

When we arrived there were lots of little extras such as fresh baked soda bread, homemade jam and Easter buns! The interior is beautiful and the cottage is equipped with everything we needed as a family of five. The cottage is on a farm with lots to see for the kids. We were lucky to be there when there were pet lambs which we were allowed to feed, we collected eggs and were given duck eggs for breakfast! One of the biggest highlights was the hosts! Linda and Robert welcomed us on to their farm and gave the kids some lovely experiences, we really will miss them!

The cottage is homely, very well equipped, very comfortable, clean and had everything you could possibly need for a very pleasant stay.

There are so many lovely thoughtful touches which have been incorporated which made our stay so enjoyable. It was a lovely relaxing place to go back to after a day exploring. Thank you for the home made jam, soda bread and shortbread, all were absolutely delicious. We would love to return for another holiday soon, thank you so much.
