End your evenings in one of two lovely social spaces; with both a sitting room boasting the original rustic open fire making a great spot for all the group to gather in front of the television, while the snug is home to a warming woodburning stove, creating a homely aura where you can wind down with a good book. Take the stairs up to the first floor to find the three well-presented bedrooms, laid out as a master super-king-size along with a king-size and a twin room, which can be linked together via the adjoining door to make a family room, perfect for those travelling with little ones. The first floor is also home to a contemporary shower room and a contrasting traditional bathroom, giving you all plenty of space to prepare for your days. Lovely old, beautiful, tastefully restored, comfotable farmhouse.

Quiet, rural location amonst cattle grazed fields. Lots of local interest and secret gems of places. Helpful owners.

We had a lovely week in Ballintlea, the house was spotless, and has everything you need for your stay.

Liz was a great host, and always replies to any questions I had in the area regarding beaches and restaurants etc. The area itself is a great base for Dungarvan, Helvik, Ardmore and Youghal. The house is a great size, comfortable and clean, and the kids had a great time playing hide and seek, and playing in the garden. Also my little nieces left behind letters and treasure maps in the garden (1 I think) and 2 in the house (hidden). They hope it can keep add to the fun for any kids staying :)
