This property is an ideal location, but extremely dated.

It is very well equipped everything you need you’ll find there but badly needs updating, carpets in a house so close to the beach just doesn’t make sense. The bathrooms are very tired, shower in ensuite doesn’t drain well annd in main bathroom is either scalding or freezing. There were only 1 plug sockets in bedrooms. Overall we did have a nice stay

The house was well equipped for cooking, clean & tidy.

Damp smell when you walk in front door, bit off-putting. Beds could be a bit softer, maybe consider mattress toppers for an extra bit of comfort. Didn't see owners all week. House a bit hard to find even with eircode. Plenty to do in the area & the weather was lovely.

Really loved this house and location, very well kitted out house only one minor fault shower over bath could do with some attention, and taps in ensuite bathroom not working very well.

But would have no hesitation recommending the house and the area. Fabulous views from the house. We intend to return next year. Stayed as family of 4. Plenty of crockery etc which meant we could use the dishwasher during our stay, which was a bonus.

What an amazing place to stay.

My family and I had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us. The only negatives I have is the smell of damp when you walk through the front door and the water pressure was really low, other than that it is perfect. The garden was secure which I loved as my children were safe playing. It had everything you need and I was really pleased when I saw there was an iron and ironing board. We will definitely be back.

This is a charming old fashioned house with stunning views over land and sea.

It’s a great location to explore the local area with many beaches and headland walks. A real chill out holiday. Lots of places to eat and visit in Wexford town.

All the kitchen was sticky There was dust an inch thick on the skirting boards The heating was really not adequate The beds were uncomfortable and not enough bedding for the time of year It wasn’t a good experience

could do with some maintenance heating in living room did not work only 1 hall heter works but it was not that cold other than that very nice,

Lovely roomy house spoilt by the faulty toilet in the en suite bathroom and the shower in the main bathroom was not up to the standard I expected.

If there had been 8 people it would have been unacceptable. As there were only 2 of us we managed. Apart from these faults the rest of our holiday at Findale was very enjoyable.

We loved the space in the cottage, very nice to stay with your family!

We discovered county Wexford and had a very pleasant holiday. We arrived in the night, the arrangement with the key worked perfectly. The first morning we woke up it was a big surprise that we could see the sea and a castle!

The space we had was brilliant , the well equipped kitchen , the chance to spend quality family time , .

But it is certainly not a pebbles throw away from Carne Beach !!

we had an amazing time at the bungalow, great veiws, nice and peaceful location, lucky enough to have some nice weather so spent some time at the beach.

Our grandchildren loved playing in the enclosed gardens and there was plenty room for 6 of us, using all of the 4 bedrooms.

The house has a beautiful sea view, and has lots of walks within 10 mins.

My family enjoyed our holiday despite having no electricity for first 24 hours due to a storm

Only one thing there could be more sheets for the double beds .

I couldn't leave sheets more than 3 days on the bed without changing them . I washed and dryed them and put them back on the bed . The house is well equipped and enjoyable to stay in . I will definitely use it again and recommend it to family and friends . Deirdre Weldon

Findale was perfect.

We we're a family of 4 so way more space than we needed,. But was ideal for a toddler. We could close the gate and all play safely in the garden. We loved the open fire, but only got to use it once as the weather was so good the house was heated by the sun. Fantastic view of the sea and just walking distance to the beach. We loved our trip. House itself was set up with everything you could need to cook with. We loved that some bits like pepper, salt, oil and cleaning products were all there.
