Great communication from the owners. The cottage was very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and had everything you needed. The views and sunsets of the Solway Fifth were fantastic and never fail to disappoint. The generous welcome pack was an additional bonus. Thank you.

"We’ve just enjoyed a lovely 4-night stay at this cottage and would happily return."
It’s in a fantastic location peaceful, quiet, with amazing views, great walks right on the doorstep, and only a short stroll to the coastal path. Whitehaven town centre was also really easy to get to.
The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and decorated and is very well equipped with everything you could need.
Only two small notes the mattress wasn’t king size as advertised, and if your dog is a determined escape artist like ours be aware the garden isn’t fully secure. Neither spoiled our stay though. We had a wonderful time overall and would definitely recommend it!

"It is a beautiful cottage with stunning views over the Irish Sea, that changes every hour."
The cottage has everything you need, all new with the latest technology TV and cooker hob.
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
Spotlessly clean. Welcome baskets in the kitchen and dinning area, of breakfast goods and biscuits. Also if you have a dog a bag of treats and a toy for them. Nothing has been forgotten, and I know they are still going to add things in the future. The owners who are new to the cottage are very approachable if you have a problem and you receive a welcome text from them on your arrival.
I highly recommend this property.

"We spent the Easter weekend at the cottage and it was perfect."

"A beautiful bungalow."
Very welcoming with lovely goodies upon arrival. Fully equipped and Spotlessly clean. Beds that comfortable that you didn’t want to get out of them in the morning. Fantastic scenery. Shop at end of street and a fantastic chip shop just up the road also. What else could you ask for. 100% recommend

The Christmas decorations was a pleasant and surprising touch. Modern decor and good WiFi. Great dog walks on the doorstep and a perfect escape to a quiet and peaceful area to watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend.

Welcome drinks, fruits and breakfast cereals were a nice touch.
All the brochures for the electrical items (cooker, microwave etc) were provided which helped. The location is spectacular for the views. When the weather is nice you can sit in the garden and watch the sun set over the sea. There is garden furniture provided.
The parking space is a few houses along and having the photo sent through was helpful to see where to park. There is easy access to the coast path and it is a 20 min walk into Whitehaven along the coast path.
All the sofas and chairs in the living room have integrated footrests - very comfy.
We would happily return.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable and very well fitted out with modern furniture and fittings. Great selection of goodies provided. Excellent location with view out to sea. Very quiet. We always got parked in the space on the lane.
A little bit of garden maintenance would really finish it off.
The nine o’clock check out is a wee bit early.

The views from the enclosed back garden were beautiful.The spectacular sunsets over the sea and the views over to the Isle of Man and Dumfries and Galloway were magnificent.We enjoyed the walks down to Whitehaven where we visited the Beacon Musem and where there are two great restaurants namely The Peddlar and ZestWe also walked up to St. Bees Head.The welcome packs were generous and appreciated.We’ll definitely be coming back.Than you for a wonderful restful stay,

What an amazing cottage. Fitted out to a very high standard with everything you need. Absolutely amazing views over the sea. Coastal path on your back door. Fantastic welcome pack thank you Ann-Marie. So quiet to listen to the birds. Up a steep hill but there is off road parking. We walked up! No2 bus takes you up. Best cottage we have ever stayed in. Well done to all.

"The description did not do this lovely cottage justice."
It was so comfortable and nicely decorated, tastefully furnished and well equipped. However, the view…… it was just stunning. The coast path runs past the front garden, with easy access for walks. Beforehand I was concerned about the shared parking, but we had no issues during our stay. The access road is narrow, but I have a large vehicle and had no problems. It is a residential area, but all the neighbours we met were really friendly. I would go back without hesitation.

Lovely arrival treats, with even a little toy for our baby. We had a very comfortable stay, the cottage is very clean and well kept. The views are outstanding and being so close to the sea was a real treat. Just a little note for potential guests with dogs, the grassy area of the garden isn't secure, only the courtyard area is. We have dogs ourselves and wouldn't be able to return with them. They aren't used to concrete and would run riot in the neighbours gardens! However, for future holidays without our pups we would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
