Heading to the outside of this cottage is a large garden with lawns and a patio area, ideal for a relaxing drink as you watch the sun go down.
Just a short walk away is Conishead Priory, a Victorian Gothic mansion which is home to an international Buddhist centre, with a cafe and shop where you can enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea.
There is easy access to the coastal villages of Bardsea and Baycliff, with superb walks from the cottage along the coast, so put on your walking shoes and discover the beautiful Cumbrian coast.
The market town of Ulverston is just two miles away and regularly holds festivals, including a charming Dickensian fair in November, plus there is an 18-hole golf course close by.

A lovely ,quiet getaway.
Plenty of room and comfortable. Nice secure garden for pets. Great walks through the woods and along the foreshore. Been here a couple of times , would recommend it. Easy access to the lakes.
We had a wonderful stay at Priory View.
The house was lovely, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group. It was a great place to come back to after long days and we really enjoyed our time there. The location worked really well for us, and the house had everything we needed for an extended stay. Our host was kind, helpful, and very responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We really appreciated having such a comfortable place to stay for the two weeks and would happily stay again.
Priory View is possibly the loveliest house we have stayed in.
We found it very comfortable, well equipped, peaceful, with a lovely walk from the house to the estuary. Thicker curtains in the bedrooms would be good for people who wake up when the sun rises.
