The property

Ruthin 4.2 miles.

Cennin Pedr is a romantic lodge nestled near Ruthin in Denbighshire.

Offers an appealing escape for couples or solo travellers and one four-legged friend, blending an elevated setting, and a private hot tub within reach of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape and Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).

After parking on the gravelled lower platform, you follow the steps upward, the crunch of stone beneath your boots marking each movement until you pause naturally partway up to take in the unfolding views across the fields and woodland that frame the farm.

At the top, the terrace welcomes you with its electric hot tub ready to sink into as the light changes across the hills, while a table and chairs set and a picnic table encourage long alfresco meals shaped by the landscape around you.

Opening the double French doors leads you into your new abode where you feel the warmth of the underfloor heating rise as soon as you step inside; the open-plan living space draws your eye to wide windows that frame the scenery, and the mounted TV offers the perfect setting for unrushed evenings.

Taking your seat at the dining table, you can imagine sharing a meal for two, perhaps surprising a loved one by preparing something delicious in the well equipped kitchen where the two ring touch hob, electric oven, fridge with ice box and kettle make cooking feel effortless, supported by a gas water heater that ensures a hot shower awaits after time spent outdoors.

The king-size bedroom softens the atmosphere, with a door giving a first glimpse of the morning fields before you step through to the en suite with its walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and when dawn arrives the gentle call of the farm’s cockerel drifts across the land adding to the rural character of the setting.

Stepping back outside, the terrace becomes part of your daily rhythm whether you start the morning at the picnic table, slip into the hot tub beneath changing skies or wander straight into the ancient woodland to explore its winding trails, with a privacy fence ensuring each pod has its own defined outdoor space.

Make Cennin Pedr your getaway of choice and step into unforgettable hillside living.
