  • "Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the sun trevor barns."

    The accommodation worked really well and had everything you would need. Nice little touches, including tea bags, coffee pods and milk for arrival. The owner was helpful in giving assistance for what was around locally and how to walk into town. There was even a dog bowl provided and a treat.. perfect for your four legged friend. We ate in the pub attached twice and the food amd service were good with big portions! Our only disappointment was that on arrival we were informed that the hot tub was not working and would be getting took away this week. When booking this was one of the reasons for picking this accomodation and would of preferred if this known about prior. Overall a fantastic stay if you are looking for somewhere near the town but away from the hussle and bussle. Would recommend.

Perched just over one and a half miles outside of the picturesque town of Llangollen are three delightful barn conversions with everything you could need for an idyllic self-catering stay. The beautiful Vale of Llangollen, with its dramatic mountain backdrop and boulder-strewn River Dee is the setting for this pretty tourist town, internationally famous for its Musical Eisteddfod. Explore the green valley by steam train or canal boat, or take an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town, in order to enjoy the breathtaking view. Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops. Keep entertained with an exhilarating trip whitewater rafting down the River Dee, followed by an adventurous Mountain Bike ride in Llandegla, or for a more leisurely experience, unwind with a relaxing afternoon in one of the local spas!
