Description

A traditional, recently refurbished semi-detached cottage in the quiet Wellswood Village area of Torquay, close to shops, bistros and the beautiful Anstey's Cove, with its superb views.

Feeling cosy and welcoming, this homely cottage is ideal for lovers of the English Riviera, with the many seaside attractions on offer nearby.

On the ground floor is a comfortable sitting room opening to the rear courtyard, a sunny spot for settling down on a relaxed afternoon to read a book.

The well-fitted kitchen comes with a dining area, where you can enjoy traditional family board games or share stories of your seaside holiday so far.

The three bedrooms include a double, a bunks room and a single with dual aspect windows.

Stroll to the local patisserie for breakfast pastries and croissants, or wander down to the beach to enjoy a coffee with a view.

After an afternoon in Torquay you can head to The Kents, a popular gastropub just a short stroll away, offering locally-sourced food and real ale.

The English Riviera boasts several beaches including Meadfoot Beach, a fifteen minute walk from your cottage, or Oddicombe Beach in Babbacombe, reached by a quirky old clifftop railway.

The wonders of Kents Cavern can be discovered within a very short walk of Little Acre, whilst the charming Babbacombe Model Village can be reached within a short drive.

Further up the coast, the traditional seaside town of Teignmouth can be found within twenty minutes’ drive, with its old-fashioned arcades, children’s playground and safe sandy beach set near the old harbour.

A cosy Torquay cottage providing ideal family accommodation on the English Riviera.

It was the second time that we have stayed at Little Acre.

The local area is very busy with a great selection of eating and drinking places. We found the local people friendly and polite. Bus stops are just up the road if you wish not use the car. The cottage was perfect for us and met all our needs. Parking is off road and there is a cosy patio area.
