  • "We enjoyed our stay at the Atlantic View annexe."

    . It was very comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony. Perfect for 2 people and a dog. Ideal dog walking and very close to Widemouth Bay beach.

  • "Do not book this property the photographs are misleading you are booking the annexe the photo show's the main house it's an annexe not an apartment."

    The photos show 2 white goods there is only one. The heating is controlled by the thermostat in the main house. It was dirty with human hair and skin under the mattress along the bed frame the cups were cracked there was no welcome pack the microwave didn't work the toilet was so small as per other users comments the handrail was filthy and sticky leading upstairs. There was dead fly's and moths in the light fittings. No cleaning materials I went out and bought a flat mop and spray to clean the floors. We left 3 days early as the WiFi failed you cannot control the heating from the annexe. And Sykes are still showing the miss leading photographs. About this property. Remember your contract is with Sykes not the owners I have all the photos what we found and sent them to Sykes who did nothing.

  • "This is not the property for a romantic quiet break as it backs onto the Atlantic Highway, a very busy road."

    No where on the listing does it say that there is a integral door shared by the two properties, which means that even the slightest sound can be heard.There was no information pack, no wi-fi code for the property and no adjuster for the central heating. The bathroom was very small with your knees pressing against the door when you were using the toilet. This listing is more suited to a large family or a group of friends who would share both properties. I will not be returning to this property in it's current format.

  • "The photo of the property is misleading as this is the main house."

    Although the property was clean there was no dishcloth tea towel bottle opener on site. We were left a pan scrubber which had obviously been used by the previous occupants. The weather was rainy and cold and there was no access to put on the radiators downstairs. The only heat was an electric fire upstairs so drying our clothes proved difficult.

BUDE

Tintagel 17 miles.

Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone, great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the North Cornwall coastal path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and Heritage Centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and excellent Information Centre. Within a short drive are the remains of a huge iron age hill fort at Warbstow Bury, from where panoramic views can be seen. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea at Hartland Point or walk or ride a donkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly to the harbour and the pub far below.
