Valley View

Everywhere was spotlessly clean, kitchen well equipped, bedrooms and bathrooms well thought out, sofas comfy, garden was lovely and completely dog-friendly.

The area was great, loads to do nearby, supermarkets within 10 mins drive, nice walks from the doorstep, lots of birds, beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend.

Three generations of our family enjoyed the stay at Valley view.

Very quiet area and lovely cottage - at the far the end of a row of four. A few niggles - the water tank in the loft is directly above one of the top floor bedrooms and kept our grandson awake for a long time due to constant dribbling of water as the tank filled - so best not use showers etc just before bedtime! No floor cleaning equipment available to clean tiles if they get dirty as you come in from outside; no vacuum for carpeted areas; only one kitchen cloth... A SERIOUS problem was the tumble dryer - the filter was thick with lint too the extent of being dangerously thick (so bad I took a photo of it, about 2mm thick) and the condenser unit was clogged solid, so be wary... A fire risk in the making! Overall though, a happy stay so don't be put off

Beautiful place.

Everything has been thought of to make it a home from home. Bed comfortable, property was spotlessly clean. Kitchen area had every utensil you might need. Nice little touch with welcome pack. Owners are friendly and informative. We visited Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Woolacombe which were just a short drive, so perfect location. Highly recommend.

Excellent cottage, dog safe garden and wonderful dog safe field.

I think it should mention it is up a mile long track with difficult access onto main road. Otherwise, owners very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location and Valley View where we stayed very private.

Layout of property well considered and quality of content very good. Parking only a problem if other guests not considerate possibly an identification space for each cottage might be helpful. Television reception become a problem for us at 9 pm but only stayed 2 nights so could be weather conditions might be worth mentioning or a simplified instruction sheet for alternatives left. Would definitely book again.

The property was very clean and well kept with good facilities.

The views were lovely and the pigs were very friendly and sweet. The internet was a bit patchy at times. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend. (The dog really appreciated the treats which had been left for our arrival)

Very clean and comfortable and a very quiet location which gave us more time to relax.

We were also lucky with the weather, so was ideal location to go out and explore.

The property was true to its listing.

The property had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Nice touch from the owners,who very kindly left some doggie treats and some wine,crisps and biscuits for the humans! Would highly recommend this property.

Due to our original holiday being cancelled less than 2 hours before we were due to arrive we where booked into Valley View instead.

Given the short time we were really impressed with the cottage and even the little gifts on arrival. The cottage is beautiful with amazing views. We struggled with Wi-Fi signal being the last cottage however this didn't cause too much of a problem. It would be good to have a welcome pack that explained about the area, processes in the cottage regarding recycling as they are a lot different from where we live, what to do when leaving and where to park (parking maybe something that is explained when you book far in advance however with such short notice we were confused about where to leave our car). We also loved being able to say hello to the pigs every morning. A book would also be helpful so we could have written a thank you message.
