• "We had a lovely stay at Oakleigh."

  It has a beautiful, relaxing feel and is thoughtfully put together. I usually take time to feel at home somewhere new, but felt comfortable here straight away. For light sleepers, a couple of bedrooms are above the local shop. We stayed in August so the windows were open, unfortunately a delivery van around 6:30am woke us each morning, so this may be worth considering when choosing a bedroom, but this is no reflection on the property itself. Please also note that EV charger usage is charged separately, so it’s worth checking the additional information. We would happily recommend Oakleigh—thank you for a lovely stay.

• "We had a wonderful time at Oakleigh and everyone agreed it was the best house we'd stayed in as a party."

  We were impressed by all the extra thoughtful things and treats on arrival. The garden was great, I did cut away the thistles on the lawn as they were very sharp for the little ones. We couldn't turn off the outside lights on the fence and lastly there were a lot of cobwebs on the balcony of the big bedroom and some inside too which rather surprised us as everything was so clean. I do not want any negative comments on the sykes listing's as that would be very unfair, I just wanted the owner to know. I did leave a note apologising for a broken glass and my son found 3 pairs of men's pants in his bedroom so we left those too. We really did have a lovely time and I would be happy to write a positive comment for your website.

• "Stunning house that comfortably accommodated all 12 of us."

  A great place where we could all relax and have fun. The snug upstairs was perfect for our teens and the little touches on arrival were perfect Our stay from the start was perfect, oakleigh house is in a great location to visit local towns, water park and blackpool sands. We would definitely stay again.

• "What a beautiful property."

  Great facilities and very comfortable. The showers are all excellent although bigger towels would have been appreciated given the luxury shown everywhere else. Beds were all comfortable. One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in and would definitely recommend it.

• "Oakleigh is a beautiful house with stunning views."

  The house is furnished to a high standard, and was immaculate. Garden is good size as is the patio area. Excellent facilities. Perfect for a family holiday, we have a baby and a dog, great facilities for them too.

• "Oakleigh is a fabulous space."

  The layout has been well thought out and has a lovely feel about it. It is well decorated, exceptionally clean, and the owners have thought of pretty much everything you could need whilst on holiday (although would have liked a clothes line outside!). Initially before booking, we were hesitant that the property was next to a pub. The pub is fairly quiet and it wasn't a problem. It would have useful to know the cost of the car charger before using it but we understand this is new. The scones and milk were very welcome. We would definitely recommend Oakleigh - our only issue really was communication from Coast & Country was not great - they even cancelled the booking at one point which came from nowhere. Other than that, a good time was had by all and we had a super holiday.
