  • "The accommodation was ideal, light and air."

    Plenty of room, and a large comfy bed. Had a chat with the site manager who happened to be about. She was able to address a couple of minor housekeeping issues. She was friendly and easy to talk to. We stayed during the heatwave so were unable to take advantage of the enclosed rear patio.

  • "This accommodation was simply 100%!"

    ! Everything from the outdoor appearance to the Devon scones and jam being left as a welcome amenity. We (along with our dogs) had a fantastic time and are talking of booking the same place again. Absolutely outstanding!! Thank you.

  • "Excellent accommodation."

    We stayed for 5 days with our small dog. Plenty of space and very quiet. Perfect location for exploring the north coast. Check in was really easy and a cream tea in the fridge was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

  • "The property is absolutely lovely, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean."

    I struggled with operating the induction hob and there were no instructions. I then struggled to contact the caretaker (no phone signal in the area) However once the caretaker arrived he was brilliant and the situation resolved. I had a really relaxing 4 day break and would definitely consider another visit as there is so much to see and do in the area.

The signal in North Devon is not at all good and for that reason we installed a good quality broadband to enable calls by WiFi. We will ensure to leave a clearer message in the cottage.   • "A lovely recently renovated barn conversion, very spacious with great kitchen and bathroom facilities."

    We found the mattress to be a little too firm, and we’re disappointed that there was no loo roll in the property on arrival meaning an unnecessary trip out, the nearest shop is over 4 miles away! Location is very peaceful and the Bell Inn 5 minutes walk away, well recommended for. Oth food or just a drink. All in all a very enjoyable stay

    We are so pleased that you had an enjoyable stay but so sorry to hear that you had not had toilet paper left! A call to ‘Kirsty (holiday home management)’ her number is in the folder and her card left on the table, would have saved you having to leave the property and find a shop. Kirsty would have been there within minutes. We are mortified to hear that the cleaners had forgotten to leave toilet paper! Property Owner

  • "The cottage was perfectly clean and equipped with everything."

    The facilities all felt really modern and comfortable. The general location was great about 15 minutes from the coast however the roads into the cottage were a big struggle for me! I ended up on tiny one way country roads every day in and out of the cottage but apart from that I would absolutely recommend this accommodation.

  • "Whilst we enjoyed our stay we found the cottage to be in need of a little more TLC with cleanliness and also the shower screen was dangerous as it had not got the right stabilising fitment to ensure the glasses safety."

    The flycatcher near the kitchen bin was full of flies which had not been replaced. The roads to the property were very narrow also.

    Your feedback is very important for us to be able to correct our shortcomings ASAP. We are so very sorry that you experienced cleanliness issues, all of which we would have easily addressed on arrival would we have been aware and you can be assured that these will be rectified.   • "Hi we had a fabulous stay and thank you for the arrival gifts."

    Too many positives to list. However,not negatives as they didn't spoil our break, we could not get right hand side of hob working. Bathroom paint is flaking quite badly. Flies were bothersome and if an out door hose could be fitted, we would have liked to clear yard better after our dogs. The bins don't look like they have been collected either. But again, these comments are made mainly for the owner to improve what is already a lovely cottage.Would definitely like to revisit a d hope to go back soon.

    Huge apologies that the bins had been missed and also that you were not able to get the right hand side of the hob to work! We will definitely be looking into this. An outside hose is a very good idea - thank you we will certainly be looking into fitting if it is possible. We are so pleased you enjoyed the cottage and your feedback is extremely useful.
