Description
‘Thurlestone Rock’ is a development of spacious marine apartments, situated on the very edge of Thurlestone Sands. Enjoying sweeping views across and over the beach towards Bigbury Bay, it is the perfect bolthole for a luxurious coastal retreat. Each apartment boasts three bedrooms, a private outdoor area, parking for one car and enjoys the use of a shared outdoor swimming pool.
12 Thurlestone Rock is a second floor apartment that has been tastefully furnished, and decorated to a superb standard. Entered via two flights of stairs that lead to the apartment entrance, the property has a fully fitted kitchen, featuring an electric fan double oven, four-ring electric hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is a separate utility area housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. The combined lounge and dining room is comfortably spacious, enjoying a Smart TV, sofas and a dining table that seats six. French doors lead out onto a private balcony (with small table and chairs) that looks across the beach, and towards the iconic Thurlestone Rock and nearby golf course.
The master bedroom has a King-sized bed, drawers and dresser, and ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a twin, with two single beds, and ample clothes storage, whilst the third bedroom has full sized bunk beds. In addition, there is a family bathroom with bath and separate shower. Outdoor space is ample, with not only a private balcony, but also a large communal patio area with barbeque facility, lower sun deck, and exclusive use of the outdoor heated swimming pool (between the months of late May to late September).

What guests are saying
Beautifully decorated and presented accommodation with very comfortable beds and bedding.
Kitchen and utility very adequately equipped.
A lovely tastefully appointed apartment with superb views.
We did have extremely strong winds and there are loud noises in the roof space which seemed more than just slates rattling. The ceiling pitch is extremely low in places. My husband is 6ft 2in so he soon learned when to duck. Apart from a couple of maintenance issues which were resolved very quickly we really couldn’t fault the apartment although It would be nice to have a king size duvet on the king size bed instead of a double. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends and family and look forward to a return visit in the future
The place was fabulous just a couple of things which let it down.
We found a mouldy pear on the side of the settee and nut shells also shells on the kitchen floor. The balcony floor and glass were filthy, I understand that you are by the sea but the dirt was on the inside of the glass which my husband cleaned also the floor tiles. Thank you for detaching the ladder to the bunk bed this was a great relief with an adventurous 2 year old. We really enjoyed our holiday and had great weather. We used to live at ‘The Heron House’ which is now Oceans Edge so knew the area exceptionally well. We will be back. Thank you Paul and Jannine
