Lovely little place small but perfect for 2 the bedroom is a bit small but not a problem for us the bed was very comfy

The property was ideal for our needs.

Very well equipped. Loved the outdoor pool. Loved the location. So easy for walking either way on the coast path which was the purpose of our holiday. Lovely walk into Brixham on a night.

Very beautiful place great accommodation and well looked after but water set to high you could not stay in shower and wash hair as you would burn yourself and wash up but would be booking again

Like others say the property is compact but with most things that you need and situated very near the South West Coastal Path.

We walked into Brixham most days (about 10-15 mins and in the other direction to Broadsands). Not far from a few NT places. Sadly the pictures of the property need to be updated, sofa, bed and outside furniture have changed, and are not very comfy. Previously mentioned , the Patio Door lock needs to be looked at, difficult to lock. Might return but may look at other properties on the site.

The property was lovely inside and had everything inside for our stay and complex was lovely it was a shame the pool had closed.

The only problem which needs addressing is locking patio door problem with locking was inside and outside.

This property may be small, but it is very comfy and well equipped.

It was spotlessly clean and well furnished. Brixham is a shortish walk along the cliffs and it is absolutely delightful. Can't wait to go back!

The site was perfect, close to Brixham but not to close.

The accommodation although only one bedroom was more than big enough. Although tidness is essential!. The accommodation is also very well stocked with all equipment needed.

Egert was compact but perfect for one person, its well equipped and easy to get your bags loaded and unloaded, especially if you arrived/leaving on a rainy day.

I'd read reviews about the smell from drains in the property, but never experienced this even when you could smell the drains when in the car park. Also, some saying its noisy as its next to the car park, which isn't entirely true. There are some car park spaces next to Egert and yes I heard cars but nothing to write home about, I heard more noise on the Saturday night from the Caravan site clubhouse behind! But even that wasn't an issue, as it went quiet after about 11.30pm. Having the pool was lovely, I was lucky to have it all to myself every evening as I think most people used it earlier in the day. The view from the pool out to sea was stunning! The gentleman who was looking after the pool and site maintenence was very friendly and The Cove was very well kept. Beautiful views and so peaceful. Egert does sadly lack that uninterrupted view due to its position, you do get a little view, but it just meant I had to go walking around The Cove and into Brixham to enjoy a better view, which wasn't a bad thing for me. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars to comfort is that I found the settee a little uncomfortable. The cushions were no help either to squish in behind me, as they appeared to be feather and I'm sure my itchy eyes were a reaction to them. I also think the bathroom could benefit from a little storage cupboard next to or under the sink, but you can easily manage without. Cleanliness inside the property and on site was 5 star, the reason for only 4 stars was the large amount of cobwebs on the outside furniture and decking. Too many to have appeared in the time from the previous guests leaving to me arriving on the day. First impression from the outside wasn't what you get inside.

We had a lovely stay at the Egret, this is a true hidden gem!

The whole place was spotless & in such a beautiful setting. We had everything we could need to make it a home from home, even a dishwasher. We didn't need to use our car at all whilst staying. We walked along the coastal path to Brixham everyday where you can get about by bus or boat. We would highly recommend staying here, thankyou for a wonderful holiday!

Ideal for a couple and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Even in February the property was nice and cosy.

A delightful apartment, beautifully clean and well equipped, in a pleasant gated development just a short walk from Brixham.

A great location for exploring the delights of the Devon coast. The only problem was the presence of feather cushions, (like many, I am seriously allergic), so had a couple of uncomfortable days until these were removed. All in all, a great holiday, and would love to return in the future.

The property was clean and well maintained.

Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and gadgets so we could cook in if we wanted. Lots of leaflets for local takeaways. Informative information folder. Good parking. Great base for either a walking holiday as lots of walks close by. Numerous places to visit in Devon/Cornwall. We would visit again.

Love Egret in Brixham we have stayed four times and will be booking next year.

I would recommend it to any couple. Plus the new bed is very comfortable.

One of the best places me and my partner have stayed at, clean and well managed, in fact a place I'd like as my home, the one and only drawback to us was, because my wife suffers a mobility problem, we could have done with the car space being closer to the property, in fact it was the worst space possible, in a corner difficult to drive into, even though there were cars parked each side of the property we were in, but otherwise, well done everyone for making it a great holiday.

On initial inspection all looked clean the apartment was smaller than it looked on the photos.

The bedroom window you couldn't see out for cobwebs we ended up cleaning it as we wanted the window open. Overall it was a great place to lay your head. It had everything you needed although I never cooked once! Great location.

Everything you would need for a couples getaway provided.

Great location for travelling around Torbay area and beyond. Unfortunately the entertainment from the neighbouring holiday park was rather loud every night which could be something to bare in mind if you are looking to make the most of your time away with early mornings. Otherwise, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and will definitely be back.

The bungalow had everything necessary for the vacation stay in a small area.

Washing machine and dishwasher were easy to use. Unfortunately there was no radio. The toilet paper holder was still loose despite the evaluation notes in advance. The freezer compartment of the fridge was not defrosted so there was hardly any space for frozen goods. Unfortunately there was no open sea view when sitting on the small terrace. The other bungalows were in front of it. The parasol and chairs seen in the photos fell victim to a storm. There are 2 wicker chairs and a shelf available for this purpose. The bungalow is in close proximity to parking lots. There was a bit of noise associated with the arrival and departure of cars in the morning hours. There wasn't much storage space for luggage. We were able to put our 2 suitcases in a small closet-like recessed wall in the bedroom. On the day of departure you have to leave the bungalow by 9 a.m. 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. would have been nicer. The couch is not in the middle of the room as you can see in the pictures, but on the left on the wall and next to it is the dining table. This also seems better for the division in the room. The holiday was otherwise very nice in this tranquil place, especially since you had the opportunity to walk directly to Brixham within about 20 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay but found the sofa a bit small and low down making it hard to get out of (I have arthritis) The toilet roll holder very loose, needs tightening up Would have liked a small clock in the bedroom

Very well equipped and comfortable

Lovely position, very easy walk into Brixham.

Accommodation very well equipped. Only slight issue was a smell of drains in the toilet, came and went but quite strong at times. Would definitely stay there again

Egret is an ideal size for 2 people , we did notice a couple of places where the paintwork on the walls could do with a touch up and the top of one of the set of drawers in the bedroom could do with refreshing ( IMO ) , very quiet at night which was nice.

The only real fault I can find and it's not really to do with the property itself is that if you have any mobility issues it may not be ideal as there is a steep upward hill up to the road if you want to walk into Brixham that way and there is quite a steep climb down if you would prefer to go the coastal path way but either way I would definitely recommend getting taxis back as its to much to walk , there isn't a great deal to do in the area where egret is so you will need to go into Brixham most days to either spend it there or to commute to other places if your like me and don't want to be driving everywhere but all in all we enjoyed our stay.

The property was very pleasant with everything we needed for our week.

It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We were there at the end of April, so the complex was quiet and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to others.

We had a lovely time however ….

.The outdoor heated swimming pool was closed… we were looking forward to that . The bathroom and sometimes the bedroom smelt of blocked drains and when we went to use the hoover it was full and needed emptying. Obviously we would have liked to have known about the pool before we booked … can you please respond to us … thank you

Just back from another great week at Egret.

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Location is amazing, great to be able to leave car and walk in Brixham and beyond. Owner ensured everything is there for your perfect stay. Hope to return again next year.

We had a lovely stay and the Egret is a brilliant location.

Minor niggles being that the shower did not drain properly (blocked), and not all of the heaters seemed to work (cold). Also the bed seemed fragile.

Lovely holiday cottage, modern and well equipped, clean and well laid out, great for two people and worked well for us.

Close to the sea and good walking access to town. Being on the south west coastal path was a bonus for me Only complaint bed not very comfortable and, although neither of us is very tall, seemed short. Complex itself was quiet clean and tidy, with easy access to the beach. enjoyed our stay.

Fridge was very loud, especially at night. It was a good base to stay and go out from, which we did every day. Lovely walk into Brixham through the Battery Gardens and lots to do and see around there too. Would have liked to use the pool, but it was always busy, mainly with kids, so didn't get chance to do this. But we had a very enjoyable week, with great weather too. We would love to go again.

Great location, gated complex with private parking.

It was a very safe and convenient location. I loved the pool and coast views, easy walks and stunning views. The property is well equipped, great Wi Fi signal, with all I needed for my escape to the sea.

This was our second visit to Egret we just love it we would come every week if we could great stay.

Nice holiday home, short walks to harbour and coast.

Good facilities, except the toaster settings don't work. It looks new, so perhaps you need to take it back. It burns toast, no matter how low settings are.

Third visit to Egret in Brixham the new owner has put a lovely new sofa and rug into the property.

On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine and Easter. Egret is just a wonderful place to stay.

A compact, modern let which was very well equipped. Great location meant we did not have to use the car at all some days. Easy to walk into Brixham and easy access to the coastal path. Complex was quiet which was just what we wanted.
