The property

Egret is a contemporary-styled one bedroom apartment found at The Cove, a collection of spectacular waterfront properties overlooking Fishcombe Cove, in Brixham.

This property is a stylish, beachside bolthole for couples, boasting use of a heated outdoor swimming pool during the season, and your own timber decking to soak up the peace and tranquility of this picturesque beauty spot.

Flanked by ancient woodlands with glimpses of the sea from the deck, the coastal inspired interior of Egret is open-plan, light and airy, with a very well-equipped kitchen, a charming dining area and an inviting sitting area.

Discover a separate double bedroom with a crisp and clean interior accompanied by a sparkling shower room.

Patio doors lead onto a timber decking equipped with patio furniture, a sunny spot for morning coffee.

Enjoy one of the picnic spots within the grounds, or stroll down to the beach café for a light lunch.

The beach is ideal for launching paddle boards or kayaks, and even a spot of fishing for your supper.

A short stroll in one direction will take you to the beautiful cove and beach at Churston, and in the opposite direction, through Battery Gardens and along the coast path will take you to the charismatic, harbour side cafés and restaurants at Brixham.

Enjoy a walk to the nature reserve at Berry Head, or drive into the village of Kingswear, just 4 miles, where you can hop aboard the steam train that will take you along the beautiful South Devon coastline to Paignton, or catch the ferry across The River Dart to the historic, maritime port of Dartmouth.

Egret is a fabulous choice for a couple to embrace a coastal lifestyle on a memorable trip to Devon.

About the location

BRIXHAM

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
