    Lodge very comfortable and well equipped for our stay. Possibly an improvement for our stay would have been recycling facilities fir different materials.

  • "The Lodge was very clean and tidy."

    This lodge is tucked away in the corner and was very quiet. Although we ate out there was no tea towel or towel in the kitchen area so had to let things dry and use a bath towel to dry hands after washing up cups. No spare toilet roll, but we did take our own. Not far from Brixham centre where lots or cafes and restaurants to eat out. Easy to book. Did have to empty the hoover from the last occupants who had possibly had a dog as full of hairs and smelt doggy, before we run the hoover round ourselves before we left. But enjoyed our stay peaceful and relaxing which is what we needed.

  • "The lodge became dangerously hot for our young baby and dog, we measured temperatures of 35oC when returning from a day out."

    We called to ask for fans but none were available. Given the climate there needs to be fans or cooling available in these caravans otherwise we would not stay again during hotter months. At the least customers should be warned of this issue. Otherwise the lodge and site were lovely. Staff at the pool and bar were friendly and helpful and we loved being able to swim. The bed in the master was very comfy. It's a shame the twin beds are so short. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Overall very impressed with the stay, would be perfect with some minor tweaks.

  • "Very relaxing clean comfortable accommadation."

    Close to lovely walks berry head saw dolphins lovely breakfast at guard house. Walk into brixham, the dogs had great time to. Would recommened if you want layed back chilled out retreat, stunning sea views this is place to be.

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
