  • "We have been going to tiriera bay for years my and absolutely love it,it's location is great and we was so pleased to see a cafe/bar and swimming pool this time."

  • "The lodge itself was lovely."

However, I would mention, you cannot park next to this lodge and access is via quite a slope and I am currently on crutches. Although, other comments have advised that this lodge has no sea view, which is correct, the lodge is positioned quite nicely, so you do have privacy. Slightly disappointed that the TV was advertised as a smart TV but NOT connected to the internet, so we could not access Netflix or Amazon prime via our home logins, as we have done before when away. We also found some of the channels missing but this could have something to do with the weather perhaps?

  • "Overall very happy with the accommodation, only negative was main bathroom had urine staining on floor around toilet which we had to clean because the smell was really bad."

Enjoyed the location, perfect for visiting Brixham and surrounding area. Visited the Bay facilities, the swimming pool was great, very warm and never overly busy, the cafe served great coffee and paninis and staff were really helpful and friendly.

  • "Amazing stay."

Can’t fault the lodge it was perfect. Nice and clean and didn’t expect the wardrobes or en-suite so was a nice surprise. The sea view when out for a walk was incredible. It wasn’t a sea view from the lodge though. The pool was immaculate and the bistro was very clean. Perhaps just a few more options. Overall a brilliant stay! We were really pleased. Thank you

  • "Although the lodge is very clean and comfortable, you’re showing a lodge with a view overlooking the middle area of the resort which also has a view of the see."

Lodge 66 is pictured at the back in the main picture with no view of anything but other lodge’s which I feel is misrepresentation. With only one dishwasher tablet, it would be nice to have a tee towel.

  • "Everything about the property was wonderful."

We were very disappointed there was not a little shop on the site we could get milk or bread. With so many lodges the site should have a little shop.

Thank you for your lovely review of Lodge 66 here at Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat. We're delighted that you found the property wonderful. There isn't a shop as you correctly point out, located at Riviera Bay but there is one on-site at our sister park, Landscove Holiday Park which guests are more than welcome to use, along with the pool and The Cove Bar & Kitchen. We do hope to welcome you back to Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat soon. Property Owner

BRIXHAM

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
