Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the White House and it was the perfect base for exploring Brixham, going for walks around Berry Head, popping into town for fish and chips and watching the boats come in and out with the daily catch. The cottage was super clean and tidy with everything we needed (including some yummy goodies on our arrival) and the view from the master bedroom is perfect for watching the sunsets. Whilst the stairs in and out of the property would be a challenge for little ones our teenagers were fine with them and just made me realise I need to do a bit more cardio! Fab little cottage perfect for our holiday. Thanks!

We loved our stay at the White House, very clean, comfortable and homely.

And what a view over the harbour! A lovely welcome hamper too which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend, however if you have mobility issues, be aware that there are lots of steep steps down to the harbour and town, so you may need to find alternative routes to avoid these.

All aspects of this accommodation suited us, clean and comfortable and a well equipped kitchen.

That said there are a number of steps from the property down to the Harbour. The view from the property was stunning like a painting on the wall! Would not hesitate to visit again. Thank you

Fabulous holiday cottage with absolutely everything you could need for a perfect break in Brixham.

The views are stunning, especially from the pretty bench at the front as the sun goes down. There are a lot of steps everywhere so it’s definitely a place for the able bodied. We found this a positive for making all the delicious food and drinks well earned.

Spotlessly clean modern decor this cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay with great views of the harbour and out to sea.

Local bus number 12 is ideal for getting around. Lots of steep steps up to the cottage and the garden but if you can manage them we would definitely recommend. Communication with the owner Luis was great, we had a fantastic week. Julie and Derek.

An absolutely amazing stay at The White House in Brixham!

The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and perfectly situated. A huge thanks to Luis for the pre-arrival phone call. His great tips on where to eat and visit made our trip. Brixham has so much to do and excellent restaurants. To top it all off, we ended every day at the cottage watching a stunning sunset. We highly recommend it!"

Lovely roomy cottage which looks over the harbour. Plenty of wardrobe space / hairdryer & towels supplied . Bed very comfortable ++. Local shop nearby for essentials. Plenty of eateries & pubs down by the harbour which is very convenient . We found it easier to park near the back of the property & go throught the top entrance of the property. There is a lovely seating area here but be aware very narrow steps lead down into the property. It can be difficult to park near the cottage sometimes & streets are very narrow. We had a lovely stay & would recommend.

A little gem of a cottage, excellent communication from Luis the owner.

A lovely decorated cottage, bright and airy , very comfortable and cosy. Everything you need, and plenty of space to put toiletries in bathroom. Extremely comfy bed, slept so well. Outstanding views and binoculars provided to make the most of the views.Easy to park in front or road at back, we parked behind purely because we have a big car. 5

Beautiful cottage situated with full view of the harbour.

...Owners Luis and Sadie were only a call away if needed....Be prepared for lots of steps up to property which was the only downside, but our fault as should have researched better....Loved hearing the sounds of the busy fishing harbour and you could not eat fresher fish and chips....Ferry over to Torquay was lovely and we saw seals so added bonus!

Stunning house and incredible views.

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights and had the most perfect time. The views are incredible and the fact that you get the evening sun on the rear patios made it just perfect. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The host was really helpful. Can't wait for our next stay.

I would highly recommend the White House, we have stayed in many holiday properties in brixham and this is by far our new favourite.

Spacious, spotlessly clean and has everything you need not forgetting the outstanding views of the harbour, we didn’t watch tv once the windows were our entertainment. We loved the basket of treats on arrival,that was a very nice touch. Not forgetting our hosts luis and Sadie, excellent communication I could sense that they are very passionate about their house especially their guests. BRILLIANT and the m you . A fantastic cottage that has everything you could need to have a fantastic break.

The treats left by the owner were more than we’ve had at other cottages and greatly appreciated. Great comms from the owners who genuinely want you to have a great time within their property. Both of us, and the dog, really recommend you book the White House for your break to Brixham

The White House was just perfect for our stay in charming Brixham.

It was light,airy,clean and had everything you could possibly need for a self catering break. I had no problem parking on Elkins Hill just behind the cottage. Once parked we never needed the car again because of the property being only a 5 minute walk down to the harbour. The views were quite stunning from the lounge,bedroom and garden. My little pooch was walked up to the end of North View Road where there is a grassed area and more beautiful views to take in. There are many steps down to the harbour but after a few days they become easier and as a 64 and 74 year old we managed them and seemed fitter after our break. This property is 5 star for location and we will be visiting again next year.

Fantastic cottage with superb views of picturesque Brixham harbour.

Internally very tastefully appointed and well maintained, with a very homely feel. Any regular visitors to the area will know parking can be scarce by near the harbour and Brixham means lots of steps. However, parking up behind the cottage was not a problem - and the steps keep you in shape! Many good pubs, chippies and shops a short walk away. The host was great/contactable - before during and after the stay. Will definitely stay here again (that's having stayed in many Brixham holiday homes over 18 years)

The location of this property is excellent less than 5mins from the quay and town centre, views are stunning from the property.

The garden although very steep is a great spot for eating and drinking our 7 and 10yr olds were ok with the steep steps but I wouldn't have been comfortable had they been any younger. The master bedroom looking out over the harbour is fantastic although the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Parking as ok, always managed to find a place to park within 2mins walk of the rear gate, although the roads in Brixham are very very narrow and it's a tight squeeze in some places.

The views were incredible at any time of the day. The cottage decor was light, airy and very welcoming. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and had kindly provided very useful information with regards to the cottage and things to do in Brixham. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be back.

Cottage was lovely and most things provided. Lots of steep steps to and from the town, parking behind was better than trying in front of the cottage, would stat here again.

This is a fantastic property which is very well equipped and immaculately maintained.

The views from the lounge, master bedroom and each tier of the garden are stunning. Only a very short walk down to the many bars and restaurants that Brixham has to offer. Perfect.

A lovely cottage with an elevated view of Brixham Harbour and views across Torbay.

Very handy for the shops, cafes, restaurants etc (provided one doesn't mind all the steps!). The cottage was very nicely decorated, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable week's stay. The owners had obviously put a lot of thought and care into it. It was a lovely base from which to journey out and visit places in the area. Added bonus was the fact that it is dog friendly. Highly recommended.

We stayed at The White House on the 8th April for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Firstly it was spotless! I am so fussy regarding the cleanliness of properties we stay in and I was so happy to find it so clean and fresh. That makes a huge difference to how I feel when I am away. The little sweet touches everywhere in the property didn't go unnoticed. We all loved the top sunny terrace and would sit up there late afternoon playing cards and scrabble (available at the house to use) watching the boats. We would definitely stay here again. A negative for some might be, the very steep steps at the back leading up to the terrace. Not suitable for young families or adults with dodgy knees! Good work out for us though, we were puffed each day when we got to the top. Loved the beautiful views too.
