"On suite bedroom and twin where great but the double bedroom only has a 3/4 size bed in it."

My Son and Daughter in Law could not sleep in it together. They took turns on the couch. They did not get a decent nights sleep for the whole week. Hence we would not rebook that lodge again. We would return to Honicombe village again but not that lodge.

Hi Yvonne, Sorry for late reply . I’m sorry your son and daughter in law found the bed not suitable. It is a 4 foot double rather than the normal 4 foot 6 inch bed, but the bedroom lends itself to that size. Myself / husband and son and daughter in law have slept in it with no problem, we have not had any other guests complain about the size. I think you will find most of the 3 bedroom lodges have the same set up. However overall I’m glad you enjoyed your stay at Honicombe Park . Property Owner

"The property is lovely and very well catered with everything you need however the site could do with maintenance as it looks run down and very old."

you have to book for indoor/outdoor swimming AND the play park so you need to plan in advance. Swimming pool is very basic with limited activities.

"Only booked for 2 days, looking for a place to take some relatives over from Australia, who wanted to fit a trip to Cornwall into their schedule."

Great place ,friendly staff, and a pub on site that does food. We were really pleased we booked. The only problem ( and it really was ) the postcode on our paperwork was wrong , PL178NQ took us to a small hamlet in the middle of now wear with closed off roads. Not what you want after a long drive. Recommend this place for a great base to tour and relaxing stay. Lodge had all we needed, and was spotlessly clean.

Hi David, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay at our lodge. Please accept my apologies regarding the post code, we were unaware of this issue and I’m pleased you have brought to our attention. We have now contacted Sykes to correct this information. Property Owner
