"Dunridge Cottage is a charming traditional cottage containing everything we needed for our holiday."
We were greeted by Rosie on arrival who told us about lots of places to visit. (Thank you for the fresh eggs and dog biscuits.) Easy walk into the village with pub, chip shop and a
great little bakery and in easy reach of Dartmoor, lots of riverside walks and unbelievable scenery. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"A lovely rural cottage, attached to owner's farm-house."
Basically furnished and equipped, but ideal for the type of accommodation. Some more information on how to operate the hob, TV etc would be useful.

"Cottage was in a lovely private area just outside the village."
Even though the property is next to the owners you have complete privacy, own private full enclosed garden which was great for the dog, and your own drive. We also were able to walk around their field with the dog, which was great first thing in the morning and the evening. Bed was super comfy. Shower was fantastic. New conservatory just been built. Cottage had all you could want. Lovely garden. We really had a great stay. Lots of walks on the moor and up to tors. Many sites such as Merrivale, Princetown Prison museum, Tavistock, Lydford Gorge are all within 10 to 15mins from cottage. We would definitely return to this property.

"The cottage is delightful."
Clean and cosy. The weather was wet for most of the week but it was November so not surprising. The opportunity therefore to dry outerwear was tricky but not impossible. The owners were incredibly friendly as were the people we met in the village particularly in the pub, the baker and the local shopkeeper. Would recommend to anyone who wants a break away with good walks on the doorstep.

"Rosie and Ross were perfect hosts and the cottage is in a very peaceful location with access to the fields surrounding the property for walking your dogs."
The cottage itself is ideal for anyone bringing their dogs especially if the weather is bad as the sun room acts as a good buffer between the garden and the cottage itself.
The only thing missing was the luxury of a dishwasher and washing machine but otherwise very well-equipped and the fresh eggs and dog treats on arrival were a nice touch. A good location for visiting the touristy places especially Tavistock and Plymouth.
Everywhere was clean and very comfortable - the only downside was the oven hadn’t been cleaned but we ate out most days so not a major issue.
The village pub is dog-friendly (very) and the food was delicious but probably better to drive there as it’s a good “country’” half-mile!!

"Lovely cottage -typical stone farmhouse with good facilities and good wi fi."
connection. Easy to find as long as you follow the instructions and the Sat Nav. Peaceful and quiet with friendly and unobtrusive owners. Fresh eggs and dog treats on arrival. Great grounds for walking the dogs. The garden would be secure for most dogs (4ft plus boundary ) but our dogs would jump that. We knew it would not be secure for our dogs before booking, so not an issue for us, therefore, having the meadow to walk them in straight out of the gate was brilliant and part of the reason we booked this proprty. Great fish and chip shop in the village and property is central for lots of walking and sites. Local pub in the village (London Inn) was quiet midweek, served great food and dog friendly. Parking right next to the property.

"We enjoyed our stay in the lovely cottage, lots of character in a truly rural setting."
Sat nav was our saviour in finding the cottage and we congratulated ourselves in doing so. The owners were adjacent and were very hospitable and helpful. The wet weather prevented us investigating the immediate area at first but improved allowing us to visit Tavistock, the Moors and nearby National Trust places of interest nearby. All worthwhile seeing in relaxing settings with of course the mandatory tearooms.

The listing states there is a ground floor bedroom which there is not, luckily we are both mobile enough to get up and down the stairs.

"This is a perfect property if you are travelling with your dog."
The cottage’s own enclosed, pretty, garden and run in the property’s grounds are great.
On arrival the owners were very friendly and helpful - the fresh eggs and dog treats were appreciated. The cottage was clean and well equipped although a hoover and mop would have been useful…..I don’t like leaving muddy pawprints! Wi-Fi was a bit patchy as was mobile service, so unable to do any work from there, but, after all, you are on holiday and the smart TV is good! The main bedroom is large and very comfortable. The location is gorgeous, very quiet and peaceful. Would I go back? Very probably.
Thank you very much for the feedback, we have been working on the WiFi this week, should hopefully be better. would be great to see you again.
