Millers Cottage

The cottage is nice and reasonably well equipped.

Could do with a small frying pan and a rubber spatula in the kitchen. We arrived to find a lovely cream tea waiting for us which was delicious.Very,very hot weather and there was a 13.5 tog quilt on the bed, which was unbearable, could do with a fan or two and also a fly swatter.The bed not very comfortable. We struggled to find enough places to put all our clothes. The owner who lives next door was very nice and very helpful. Lovely courtyard area for Al fresco dining.

What a lovely week we had at Millers Cottage.

Its tucked away in a secluded area, which was lovely for privacy. We did a lot walking in a week, Widemouth Bay, Bude, the beautiful beaches. The owners of the cottage were super helpful and always on hand if you needed anything or had a question about the area. We also had a lovely cream tea waiting us on arrival, which was a lovely touch and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything about Miller's cottage was as described.

The only thing we found a bit uncomfortable was the sofa, we found it wasn't supportive enough when sitting in the evenings. It was lovely being able to leave the car at the cottage & walk into Bude along the canal & be by the town & coast in 15 to 20 minutes.

Lovely cottage in a great location and perfect for our needs.

Comfortable, cosy, well equipped and Sean and Debbie are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Canal walk into Bude is super as is the coast walk although a bit more strenuous. Lots of good places to eat, we recommend Sunday lunch at the Falcon Hotel.

A lovely cosy comfortable cottage.

Very well equipped with everything we needed. Very much appreciated how clean it was with lovely fresh bedding and towels. The owners were very welcoming and would have been available if we’d needed anything. Good walks from the cottage and into Bude.

Beautiful cottage with everything you need.

Loved having the outdoor space to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine during our stay. The cream tea was a lovely touch. A great base to explore Bude and the surrounding area.

Cottage was clean but much smaller than appeared in write up.

Parking was on an incline with entry to area very undulating. Path to cottage gravel making impossible to wheel cases along it, steps from font door to lounge, kitchen ,dining area were not mentioned and in our opinion were difficult, narrow and edged with aluminium angle.

It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a warm welcome from Sean and Debbie had left a lovely cream tea for us to enjoy. We were able to relax in the courtyard area and soak up the sun as we had excellent weather which always makes the holiday. Thank you from John and Chris

A really lovely property for two people, and a good base for the area.

Very quiet. Close to Bude, with a great walk along the canal or along the cliffs to Widemouth Bay. Cream tea and milk left for our arrival, and excellent communication with Sean and Debbie. Highly recommended.

This is a exceptional cottage with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday.

The host Sean made us very welcome and gave us advice on places to see and things to do. Being so close to Bude Town centre was another bonus. We had a excellent time here and will definitely return for another holiday. Bryan and Clare, Melksham Wiltshire.

Millers cottage was beyond as described.

It had loads of extras and extremely well equipped and clean. We found it very peaceful with both front and back gardens being a sun trap and there are many lovely walks in the area. Just a note that it’s quite hilly on some of the walks and Millers cottage is on several levels with a couple of steps inside.

We had a lovely stay in this well appointed cottage, we had a warm welcome from the owner on arrival and the cream tea and milk was a lovely gesture off the owners.

The cottage as everything you need, and is well situated to explore that part of Cornwall . Sean and Debbie were the perfect hosts and nothing was to much trouble should you need anything or advice on where to visit or eat and are full of local knowledge. We will definitely be back one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

We loved everything about Millers Cottage.

It was quaint, comfortable and immaculately clean. The only negative was the very hilly walk into Bude. Not for those with arthritic limbs!

The property is accessed via The Grange, not Lynstone Road, or Lane as stated in the directions.

We spent ages trying to find it. The internal photos are out of date, and need updating. Very quiet, peaceful location. Clean and in good condition.

A delightful, cosy little cottage, perfect for 2 people.

Ideally positioned within easy walking distance of the town either by road or much more interestingly via the canal. Tintagel, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Padstow are all a pleasant picturesque drive away and well worth a visit. Be aware there is no washing machine as advertised. TV updated but this meant no DVD option.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Millers Cottage.

It was faultless! Spotlessly clean, comfortable with high end equipment. The welcoming cream tea & Cornish milk were very much appreciated. Only a short drive or pleasant walk along the canal towpath into Bude. We’d definitely recommend this cottage to friends & family.

This is a lovely cottage.

It’s spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our lovely one week stay. Excellent private parking, and a private garden area. Hosts are lovely and on hand if needed but not intrusive. They provided a lovely cream tea on arrival, and also a pint of milk in the large fridge freezer. The cottage is peaceful and secluded, a 15 minute walk into Bude, note it’s on a hillside so a bit longer to walk back. Highly recommended.

This cottage is in an excellent place to be able to walk the coast path and only a 10 minute walk into town.

!! Everything about this cottage is very well thought out, to give you such a comfortable stay. Thank you for the lovely cream tea on arrival, with the warm welcome from Sean and Debbie. You always felt they were there for any advice, but never intrusive. Bude itself is beautiful, lovely walks and outstanding restaurants and beach. Enjoyed visiting Padstow and Port Issac. We would highly recommend and definitely return to this area and stay at this cottage.

15 mins walk into Bude, few minutes longer if you take the scenic canal path. Also convenient for coast and country walks. Welcoming cream tea on arrival provided by very helpful hosts Sean and Debbie.

What a quaint cottage nestled in a hillside enclave.

the location was convenient as a stating point for walking and cycling out into the Cornish countryside. We arrived slightly earlier than intended but we were warmly welcomed by the hosts who live in the next door cottage. They were very helpful with suggestions for visits and places to eat. this added to our overall enjoyment of the week at Millers Cottage.

This cottage is extremely comfortable for two, well laid out and with all the facilities you require.

It is ideally placed to explore Bude, the coast path as well as the rest of Cornwall and Devon. Debbie and Sean were extremely help full and reddy to assist if required.

We were able to check in early which was great. Lots of local knowledge about the area. Cottage was comfortable and in a great location for walking.

Cute, sunny and private garden to enjoy a Corev in. Great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Loved the thoughtful, welcome cream tea. Cottage was just the right size for 2 people. Beautifully clean. Everything we needed except a washing machine that would have made it perfect as we stayed for two weeks. We managed to wash clothes by hand so not really a convenience. Would definitely recommend Miller’s Cottage. Great place to stay.

The Miller's cottage was our little holiday nest for a week in Bude.

Couldn't fault it at all and the friendly owners on hand next door were always available if needed. Glorious walk into Bude down country lanes and canal towpath every day made the holiday extra special.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location only a short walk away from the coastal path and within easy walking distance of Bude and the canal.

We have just returned from Miller's Cottage.

It was beautiful. Very comfortable and like home from home. Sean and Debbie were great and we would definitely recommend it for a quiet and restfull holiday. Canal tow path and Coastal pathway are within a few minutes walk with lots of other places to discover.

The cottage is in a good location, only 10 to 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bude.

It had everything we needed for the two of us including a private area outside with table chairs and sunloungers. The owners were very kind offering to get us any items from local shops prior to our arrival. The also left us a cream tea and bottle of milk in the fridge. Overall, an excellent value stay in a great location. We are looking to go back again next year.

The cottage was perfectly private and away from the main road and very ell equipped.

Despite lockdown coming mid-holiday, we were able to enjoy our break, the marvellous walks, both coastal and inland. We loved the walk to and from Bude, fabulous cliff top views, beach and river. A good circular walk. The owner was very helpful but non-intrusive and we really appreciated the welcome scone cream tea on our arrival. Recommend sunset at Widemouth Bay, great parking too.

very helpful .Bude excellent base. Cottage just outside Bude but about 10-15 mins walk. away from pubs/restaurants. Next to the South West costal path well worth taking the time to do a bit of this for the views. There is also a walk along the canal that brings you back to cottage. Did a lot of exploring and revisiting the area. Cornwall is beautiful will definitely return and return to Millers Cottage

Just a ten minute walk into Bude and convenient for plenty of places to eat locally.

It was very quiet and wonderfully dark. The cottage was well set out and had a very comfortable bed and hot shower. Perfect for a relaxing stay .

Very near to beautiful countryside and coastal walks. Only 15 min into Bude town / beach so no need to drive. The owner Was very happy to help with anything we required.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable - a real home from home feel to it. Situated close to the beach (Widemouth Bay) and only a few minutes away from Bude. A lovely relaxing holiday.

Cottage good comfortable ideal for walking the coastal paths shame there is no television not that we needed it much as we were able to walk out every day but it would have been nice to watch the telly in the evening.
