  • "Really enjoyed staying at Fieldstone Barn, accomadation was excellent and comfortable with good views, plenty of places to visit."

Had bit of problem finding location with all the narrow roads but once we knew where to go it became easy. Just remember these are very narrow single track roads so a bit of care required.

Thank you, Ian, for your lovely review. I’m so pleased you found Fieldstone Barn comfortable and enjoyed the views and exploring the area. The country lanes can take a little getting used to, so I appreciate you mentioning them for future guests. You’d be very welcome back! Property Owner

  • "Loved the barn and felt very at home."

Quality fixtures and fittings. Nice to have very few rules and regulations and feel like its your home for the week. Lovely area for long walks with the dog but not far to beaches if theyre your thing. Communication with host and housekeeper worked well. Lovely neighbours Chris and Jane told me about what was going on locally. Would love to stay again as so much to do. My dog loved it too.

It’s also wonderful to hear that communication with us worked well and that Chris and Jane helped you make the most of the area. • "A beautifully renovated, clean and comfortable barn conversion with everything needed for a relaxing weekend away."

In a row of 4 neighbouring barns, the property is located in a rural, peaceful spot just north of Dartmoor with a large enclosed garden for dogs to run around overlooking the countryside. Jo is a responsive host and was extremely helpful during our stay. Friendly neighbours gave us tips on where to visit to escape the extreme temperatures. Bude is an hour's drive away but a whole 8° cooler - stunning beach and river walks made this a great day out. We also visited Topsham with the lovely Goats Walk along the River Exe and a pit stop at Bicycle Route 2 Takeaway Hatch. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay, thank you!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay at Fieldstone Barn and found it to be such a relaxing place to unwind. It was lovely to hear that you explored the local area and enjoyed visits to places such as Bude and Topsham. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your recommendations for future guests. Thank you also for your kind words about our hospitality. It was a pleasure to host you, and we’re so pleased you had such a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Since your stay, we’ve also made a few further improvements to the property to make it even more comfortable for future guests, including cooling fans and a garden parasol to help with the extreme temperatures this summer.
