• "All the amenities you'd ever want on holiday - WiFi TV gave channels galore and ability to use own prime and Netflix accounts, read concerns of plastic crockery - it was half and half, good quality and a damn good idea."

  Heating was electric and easily controllable. Bedrooms had plenty of drawer space and master had a whopping sized wardrobe enough space to share. Location superb for both walks, beaches, coasts and Brixham Harbour. A lovely park out front, 10 min walk down to the harbour, with excellent restaurants and bars. Host Andy was knowledgeable and always happy to help if help was needed......

• "To summarise our thoughts would be to state that the property was over-priced for its quality, our evidence being: 1 - Instructions to find the property, they were (presumably) written by C & C (and probably not shown to the owners for comment or correction) with details taken from a route finding website, it was appallingly poor and not too easy to follow."

  In a discussion with the owner we learned of a simple route that avoided the older parts of Brixham completely. We used the owner's suggestion when we returned home after just one night at the property. 2 - In the kitchen we found that nearly all of the tea/coffee mugs were stained, not a very good advert. 3 - Plastic plates? Why? Presumably, the property is set-up for families with children, this was not mentioned in the literature we saw prior to booking. 4 - No washing-up liquid available. 5 - The dining table was scratched and stained. 6 - The second bedroom appears to confirm that the property is set-up for families with children as there was no wardrobe. My wife and I are OAPs, we sleep in separate bedrooms at home and did so at this property. 7 - We could find no instructions as to how to work the TV, we genuinely struggled to find programmes we wanted to watch, possibly because we are old and not particularly tech-savvy. 8 - Also, we could find no instructions about working the heating and when we did manage to switch on a radiator it took a long time before any heat could be felt, we generally found the property to be chilly, not ideal for a holiday. 9 - Things were generally lacklustre, such as the living room blind was broken, things like this give a bad impression. 10 - Though it was too chilly to use the outside seating, it appeared to be aimed at families with children. 11 - We have holidayed in rented properties for nearly 40-years and one thing we have found during the past two decades has been the quality of a 'welcome pack', often a bottle of wine with some quality locally baked biscuits/cakes. Here was a packet of Rich Tea biscuits, does that really 'welcome'? 12 - We were so disappointed that we decided to return home after one night, we cut our losses and were so pleased to get home to reflect on the very brief stay in Brixham. I doubt if either of us will return.

• "Very enjoyable stay."

  Welcome pack appreciated. Spotless and comfortable. Generous parking space with easy access. Owners lovely couple with good local knowledge, willing to take time to share. We used the little bus to bring us back up the hill, the bus stop is just across the green. Small stick hover or Ewbank sweeper would be useful. Only one small hand brush set available. There are extra pillows available. Loads of hot water. A lovely place to stay only a few minutes walk from the heart of Brixham .

• "A very well situated, quiet property, with parking and just a short walk in to the town."

  It made the ideal base for exploring Devon by walking, car or public transport. A very comfortable cabin, a home from home and a nice place to relax after a day out exploring. Great hosts, very knowledgeable regards the area and we would love to stay again.

• "Having never been to Brixham before we wanted somewhere 'homely' with a parking space & that was close to the amenities of Brixham & the cabin just fitted the bill."

  It's a lovely Cabin, home from home, it's got everything you need to make for a relaxing holiday & Andy & Yvonne are just lovely host's. We both fell in love with Brixham & intend to come back sooner rather than later. & assuming we can book a few days at Brixham Breeze Cabin we'll definitely be booking with Andy & Yvonne. The cabin definitely deserves 10+☆ in our opinion!!!

• "Lovely property home from home , lovely and warm we came in January, comfortable bed , and a good shower, plenty of crockery and utensils in the kitchen."

• "We had a lovely restful holiday."

  Cottage had everything we needed from very comfy beds to lovely and Warm. Only a 5 minute walk down to the Harbour with the added bonus of a parking space on the property. Andy and Yvonne were very friendly and gave us lots of local information to make our holiday more enjoyable.

• "It was a nice little bungalow attached to the owner's property."

  It was well-equipped, warm and clean. The owners were helpful and available when needed. Brixham town is a 5-minute walk away and was lovely, even in late October. The house is within easy walking reach of local beaches and a short drive to Paignton and Torquay. The only easily fixed issue was that the iron did not work.

• "Property was excellent."

  The ‘extras’ included 2 packets of biscuits, plenty of towels, a full fruit bowl. Clean throughout, cleaning materials plentiful, lots of TLC. Great location. If you take a dog, there is a massive park opposite the property that’s ideal. You can leave car on the drive. Met the owners - very friendly and it was obvious they wanted to do the best for us. We enjoyed it.
