Manor Cottage Barn

My wife and I had a lovely time at the cottage.

The facilities were excellent. The cottage was very rural with great views over the local countrysides . The owners were very friendly and attentive to our requests.

Cottage is well equipped and courtyard is dog proof, even for my little dog dog. Lots of places to visit within a short distance. Looe is a short drive away if you want a paddle in the sea. Supermarket 3 miles away with a fuel station.

On arrival found door open wide with owner walking towards cottage It appeared that our dog was not on booking so off she went to confirm Found out he was not so paid £20,first impression was good ,but when looking around later not so good The duvet cover had on been ironed or may not of been changed Looking at ceiling in bedroom the paper was peeling off in several places The floor in living room had a crack in and could of cut feet so I moved rug to cover, the oven had not been cleaned in some time,there was nothing to clean kitchen floor so had to use a towel of my dogs we took several anyway, a mop would have been better But more than anything, was the smell of damp in cottage the sofa in down stairs room smelt very bad ,I had to spray with fresh air spray Overhaul cottage is in need of freshening up and a coat of pain on windows I have pictures of items I mentioned if want to view We came home early due to poor weather in the end but that is nature

I can’t recommend this beautiful cottage and the hosts enough, so welcoming.

If you need a break to unwind and relax this is the perfect place. Extremely comfortable and everything you need to make your stay perfect. And being so welcoming to your pets is a real bonus. Thank you!

...what more could you be looking for? This is a wonderful holiday cottage with huge amounts of space (there are two sitting rooms and a big kitchen). It really did feel like home from home. I used it is a base for walks in Dartmoor, along the West Devon Way and the coast and it was so nice to know I was coming back to such a comfortable base. Would highly recommend.

The facilities were excellent, plenty of space wonderful views and an enclosed garden for the dogs. Our hosts were most welcoming and generous. Stoke Climsland offers a good venue for visiting attractions nearby but equally offers you everything you need to settle and enjoy a relaxing retreat. We would highly recommend this holiday property.

The cottage was just lovely, spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, host greeted us on the first day and showed us where everything was.

Very relaxing and tranquil area. Hosts provided so much more than I thought including for the dogs. Super stay love it

Manor Cottage Barn is a lovely place to stay, very clean and cosy and tastefully furnished.

Beautiful views from the lounge and in a lovely quiet area of Cornwall but convenient for exploring other areas. We really enjoyed our stay here, the owners made us feel very welcome and were on hand if required. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking in this area.

Beautiful views from the upstairs lounge. Bed so comfortable & brilliant shower in the en-suite. The owners Debbie & Pete were very welcoming & helpful. Lovely warm clean cottage , lovely contained courtyard to keep my 3 dogs safe , spoke to the owners and they were very pleasant , lovely views from the main upstairs window

What a find !

Fabulous holiday cottage, immaculate inside with views to die for from the windows….. beautiful. Great to find a property that will accept three dogs - our Border Collies Meg, Skye & River enjoyed their holiday very much. Good location too. My only wee little gripe would be the ‘welcome basket’ Looking back in the visitors book it looks like wine, bread & chocolates were gifted but we didn’t get anything like that. However our dogs enjoyed their treats. We will definitely be back as loved it very much. Thank you Pete & Debbie

Had a wonderful week in this lovely, spacious and comfortable barn conversion.

Perfectly placed for exploring Cornwall and south Devon while being very quiet, peaceful and private. Deb and Pete were excellent hosts and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This property has very spacious accommodation and has everything you need for your stay, as we have three dogs the enclosed courtyard was just brilliant.

Parking was right next to the property and our hosts Pete and Debbie were so welcoming and on hand if you needed anything. There was a well stocked village stores and post office close by and the walks around the country lanes were so peaceful and pretty much traffic free the peace and tranquility was just amazing as were the views from the lounge window. So many places near by to visit for your days out. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
