  • "Everything you could think of is included in the cottage."

It was so warm and cosy in all the rain we had but the TV and radio were well used. The eggs from the farm were superb and I even brought some home. The owners Polly and Phyll were friendly and welcoming and on hand should you need them. The cottage wasn't easy to find as the web site didn't have a street name, however, we understood why as Downash Lane isn't marked until you are halfway down the street. A quaint village with good community shop and beautiful church.

Thanks so much. It was really lovely to meet you. Take care. Property Owner

Bath was very nice after a walk in the cold January weather. Garden was smaller than expected and not secure, but nice to look out onto. Didn't feel confident to use the wood burner as the seal was damaged and didn't want a room full of smoke

Thanks so much for your comments. It was lovely to meet you and your gorgeous dog! I'm sorry to hear that you were expecting a larger garden, we ordinarily get comments to say the photos don't do it justice. We will add a note to the details to say that the garden is not currently secure until we're able to do this. I'm really sorry if this inconvenienced you. The fire rope on the wood burner is there to increase the efficiency of the fire rather than smoke proof the property. The chimney has been recently swept in line with requirements so draws well. We've got a rope fixing kit on hand as we rely solely on wood burners ourselves and would have been really happy to pop in and resolve this. This has been done and I'll make a point of double checking in between stays. Thanks for your custom and thanks for leaving the cottage so beautifully clean and tidy. Property Owner
