  • "Very well maintained and comfortable cottage."

Great views. Exploring the area so easy with bus and ferry just yards away.

  • "It could have been cleaner."

Lots of cobwebs especially around window areas. Although it says it’s dog friendly there are too many restrictions!. No soap or shower gel. No garden really to sit in ( this area could have been improved so easily and made our stay more enjoyable )

  • "Very nice, comfortable and well equipped property."

Location brilliant if you have a dog as the Edgecombe estate is lovely and there are lots of walks. You can also eat at the estate but also the nearby Pub does good food and you can watch the boats go by. If you want to explore further but leave the car behind then there are regular buses and ferries you and your dog can go on. Would recommend and we are likely to go again at some point.

  • "Garden/patio area not secure for dogs."

Otherwise fantastic place for peaceful stay. Long way from nearest shop so bring what you need with you. Would definitely stay again.

  • "Lovely property with plenty of nice walks from the doorstep."

Really enjoyed watching all the boats passing and highly recommend the pub next door! Would suggest taking earplugs if you like to sleep with the windows open...Rookery in nearby trees wake up very early and have a lot to say to each other!

  • "We loved our stay in Seascape."

The accommodation was great as were the views. We had the best weather. I would recommend booking a meal at the Edgcumbe pub which is a two minute walk from the house! We would love to book it again, date to be determined.

  • "We spent the most wonderful week at the property."

It was very comfortable and catered for all our needs. Our two dogs also enjoyed the stay, especially the walks which were right on the doorstep. The location and views were idyllic. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

  • "Lovely holiday house in a beautiful area."

The house was well stocked and an extra bed was put in the second bedroom which was such a thoughtful touch knowing we had 2 children with us. Underfloor heating made down stairs the perfect temperature. The views are breathtaking. The pub next door is very welcoming and the food is spot on! We will definitely be back!

  • "Nice property facing with views overlooking the estuary."

Comfortable, and lots of Kitchen utensils and gadgets. An amusing problem, the TV downstairs screen freezes on terrestrial channels - when the 2 left hand light switches by the front door are turned on, turn off the lights and TV screen unfreezes and can watch Ok! Shame the pub in the village does not open in the evening until 1st April , had to drive to MillBrook to find a pub Could do with a handle on the Bathroom wall upstairs to assist getting out of bath.

  • "We had an amazing week at Seascape ."

The house and location are just beautiful. A very well equipped property. So lovely to have knives that are sharp and foil to place on oven trays . These may seem small details but having been to a lot of holiday homes these make a difference . Mount Edgcumbe Country park is stunning , so many walks kept the dog very happy . We will definitely be coming back .

KINGSAND

Plymouth 24 miles.

The twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with narrow streets winding between pastel-coloured cottages, lie on the Rame Peninsula just 5 miles from Plymouth, but because the high ground of Mount Edgcumbe lies between, you are not aware of being near a large city. Instead, you can relax in the peace and quiet of village life, and look out over Plymouth Sound which offers calm waters ideal for watersports, fishing and bathing. Take a walk south along the coastal path to Penlee Point for the glorious views of Rame Head, towering above the sea, or, a walk north along the coast will take you to Mount Edgcumbe Park with fabulous views of Plymouth Sound. From Cawsand, take a ferry trip to Plymouth and visit the Aquarium, the historic Barbican or enjoy a spot of retail therapy. Just a mile west of Kingsand lies Whitsand Bay, with 4 miles of sandy beach and dramatic cliffs. You really are spoilt for choice in this ‘secret hideaway’.
