  • "This was a lovely flat easy to feel at home."

Great to have parking and situated within walking distance to shops and eateries. Know Dartmouth well and possibly the best place I have stayed. Issue with the toilet in bathroom was quickly looked at howevr it did leave us with just the toilet in the ensuite. Not good for night time visits to bathroom. The only other problem as a short person had difficulty reacing some of the crockery. A small step or move the most used items to lower shelves. would definity stay again.

  • "Lovely spacious property, well situated to walk into the town."

Great to have the underground car park with a private space. Slight niggles were the lack of dvd player which had been removed and the carpet which could do with a deep clean. It would not put me off staying there again,as we had a wonderful time in Dartmouth

  • "Fantastic location centrally within Dartmouth."

The apartment has all facilities needed and is spacious. Underground parking is a real bonus. One downside is road noise as the bedroom has wooden French doors that don’t meet properly and vehicle noise and a draught come through. On the plus side the heating is very efficient and offsets the draught. The only other issue is that a good deep clean is needed and a lick of paint . Also not sure what the last occupier cooked but when we entered the apartment we found a ‘fish’ smell that was still there to a degree at the end of the week despite us buying a scented candle to hide it on day one. Overall a great stay but just a few niggles.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at 10 Dartmouth House. It’s great to know that the underground parking added convenience to your stay. We’re very sorry to learn about the issues you experienced. Your comments regarding the French doors are extremely helpful. We will be arranging for these doors to be inspected. Thank you again for your helpful feedback. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Property Owner

  • "10 Dartmouth Street is very conveniently situated close to the centre of Dartmouth and is great for those with mobility issues due to the lift and underground car park (a big bonus)."

The accommodation is well appointed and spacious. Whilst the property does have views to the estuary, I would say these are only partial due to the car park / trees and buildings immediately outside the property. The general cleanliness of the property was good, however more periodic cleaning of ledges, skirting boards and painted doors needs to be done. Overall, this is an excellent property for anyone seeking a stay in the centre of Dartmouth.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your stay at 10 Dartmouth House. We’re very pleased to hear that the property’s central location and secure underground parking were an added bonus for you. We appreciate your note regarding the estuary views. While the property does offer some outlook towards the water, you’re absolutely right that these are partial due to nearby buildings, trees, and the car park but being located so close to the town centre those beautiful views are only a quick stroll  away. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Property Owner

  • "We have been to this property at least six times and find it very suitable for our holiday requirements."

The location is the main attraction, followed by the secure parking, the spacious rooms and the general clean appearance of the apartment. The shower is also excellent in both bedrooms.Perhaps some extra cleaning on doors and ledges that we found dusty would be useful.Overall this is a lovely flat and we have already booked for 2026.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback and for choosing to stay with us so many times over the years. We really appreciate you mentioning the areas where we can improve. Your note about dust on doors and ledges is very helpful. We will ensure these areas receive more attention going forward. We are so pleased to hear you have already booked again for 2026. We look forward to welcoming you back and ensuring your next visit is just as enjoyable. Property Owner

  • "Didn't think after over 6 hours of driving we would have to make our own bed."

never had to do that with your other properties.

Thanks for letting us know that this happened. As owner's we have spoken to Coast and Country about this misunderstanding as it shouldn't have happened, all beds should have been made and ready for you. Unfortunately the property was cleaned by a cover member of staff who didn't realise they had to make the beds. We're really sorry that this was the case and hope you managed to enjoy your week afterwards and your stay at 10 Dartmouth House. Property Owner

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
