  • "We have been enjoying holidays in Dartmouth for 10 years and always managed to rent excellent accommodation."

    This quality apartment is, by far and away, the best so far. Previous reviews highlighting uncomfortable seating no longer apply as there is a new extremely comfortable sofa and armchair. Immaculate and centrally sited with undercover parking, this was a first class choice for another great time in Dartmouth.

  • "The Coast & Country staff were brilliant, so helpful, friendly and very professional."

    The apartment was well situated but not what we expected - it has large furniture so isn't roomy but clever photos made it look as if there is more room than reality, although the views over two car parks were interesting. There is no comfortable seating and it's definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, plus the very slippery rugs were downright dangerous. To make matters worse, we also had issues with very noisy and inconsiderate people next door in Apt 1, but that's the luck of the draw. We wouldn't go back to De Courcey House but would use Coast & Country in future.

  • "Well placed."

    Short walk into centre of Dartmouth and the esplanade! The flat has all the amenities that you would expect, however some things need replacing- the sofa is past its sell by date and is uncomfortable. The towels need replacing and the mattress is reaching the end of its life, but despite that we had a good stay there.

    Fully equipped to a high standard. Accurately portrayed in listing. Central Dartmouth location with its own parking space meant we didn’t need to use the car at all during our stay. Thank you for the welcome gift. Would definitely use again when staying in Dartmouth.

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, you couldn't want for anything."

    Just a couple of points, the bed in the back bedroom, the left hand mattress as you look at the headboard, sinks to the right, replacement nay be needed. The instructions regarding the rubbish, there is no code on Bin 2, so could open bin as normal. Perfect apart from the above 2 points.

    Excellent variety of shops, restzursnts and cafes. Theatre/ cinema and buses/car and passenger ferries and boat trips vlose by. The other advantage important to mention is the parking directly below the appartment.

  • "Great holiday apartment."

    Benefits from AC. This will be invaluable during seagull season as you will be able to close the widows to keep out the noise, which is considerable, and remain cool at the same time.

  • "We came with friends."

    We have both stayed in some very high end accommodation. Have to say this apartment is up there with the best we have ever stayed in. It's modern, immaculately maintained, very well thought out. Usually there is some constructive criticism to help the owners improve the clients stay. In this case I would say do not change a thing. It's simply perfect.

  • "This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in."

    The beds and bedding are perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and to have a designated parking space is a real bonus. The only issue was the seating. The sofa looks great but isn't that comfortable and the seating around the dining table isn't conducive to long leisurely dinners. But all in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "A really lovely modern apartment, beautifully presented."

    Great location, and although everything you could possible need was only a few minutes walk away it was a surprisingly quiet location. We all felt totally at home in this apartment and would happily stay here again. This is one of the best holiday properties we have stayed in and would highly recommend it.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes.
