We have been visiting Dartmouth every year now for 12 years and stayed in many places. This is by far one of our favourites. For us would be perfect If we could bring our dog with us but unfortunately they can not stay in this property. Will be back next year but bringing our pooch, so we will need to find somewhere else. But this place has the perfect view and we love it.

  • "The apartment was excellent, very clean, comfortable, well equipped and bright, location was great, easy to walk to all shops/restaurants, sitting on the small balcony watching the world go by was wonderful and there was no smell from the fish and chip restaurant below, there is street parking outside to unload luggage and the main car park is a five minute walk away, the 2 sets of stairs may be an issue for some, there is no air conditioning or fans provided and the bedroom windows only open a few inches, so we did find it very hot in bed at night, but it was extremely hot weather during our stay, the noise from the seagulls is constant so it is advised to have ear pods to be able to sleep at night and the bed is very firm which may not suit some for a good nights sleep."

    We would definitely stay again.

  • "We have stayed in this apartment on 2 previous occasions."

There were a few issues this time to do with maintenance of the property that was disappointing. The hot water tap in the bathroom came off ,if this was dropped into the sink ,it could have caused damage. The water in the sink did not drain away properly, we were concerned that this may cause damage to other attached properties. The bathroom towel rail could not be turned on,it was taped over at the socket. We would have not abused the use of this, it was simply that we wanted to dry damp towels. We did mention these issues to a member of staff at the Dartmouth office but she was rude and inferred that the owners may have not wanted the towel rail to be used. Her customer service left much to be desired. This property is in an incredible position and deserves to have tlc not to be neglected. It was however spotlessly clean . Having said all of this we have booked to visit next year.

  • "The property is really lovely, a wonderful view and great location."

Everything needed is provided and the apartment felt very homely. The rainfall shower was much appreciated, and if the weather is in your favour it’s fantastic to be able to sit out on the balcony and watch the boats going back and forth. Some constructive feedback; the apartment appeared clean, however the tables and chairs on the balcony were quite dirty, and the cutlery in the kitchen needed a good scrub. Could we please have a shelf in the shower! It may have been us, but we found both the beds quite uncomfortable - possibly a change of mattress is due? Overall our stay was excellent and we would definitely consider returning!!

  • "The beds are very uncomfortable, in one bedroom the bed is broken and mattress very stained."

The other bedroom mattress is very uncomfortable and has three mattress toppers on bed, really could do with new mattress as springs are poking through. In the kitchen the plates, cup and cutlery are old and stained. We had to buy two new mugs to use, which we left behind for next guests. Apart from this the apartment would be lovely with an amazing view.

Would have liked to see Soap in the kitchen and Bathroom and the location of the bin store was not obvious, in fact we could not find it as the rear door had a sign stating no rubbish beyond this point. Car park permit was amazing and we managed to get the same spot everyday. We will likely return very soon.

  • "Overall the place is lovely, the views are totally spectacular and the layout of the apartment is well thought out."

I don't wish to criticise too much because we did really enjoy our stay. The following things for us would have made it perfect and I feel might make a big difference to other people staying so I wish this to be helpful, not critical. We found the beds uncomfortable, we tried both and they were really hard. My partner didn't really sleep well. The sofa was also very uncomfortable, it slides down when you sit on it so overall we found it hard to relax at the apartment in the evening. The two arm chairs were good for us. Some of lights don't work in the bathroom, there might be good reason for this. Two of the draws in the furniture in living room fall open all the time after you close them, I am guessing that is to do with how the room slopes. Not a big issue for us but thought it was work letting you know. Everything else was great and we loved watching the river from the balcony. Less fussy people who are out and about more and don't mind very firm beds will love this place. Its also very spacious and clean.

  • "This was our second visit to the apartment and it didn't disappoint."

The view of the river is amazing, facilities are good, bed is comfy, the couch in the lounge area not so. The cleanliness cannot be faulted. Taking the rubbish to the bin store can prove difficult, this time there were large umbrellas in front of the cupboard likely from the upstairs bar.

The view across the estuary to Kingswear is just stunning. We loved sitting on the balcony watching life go by on the river and the street below. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, tastefully furnished/decorated and well-equipped. The 2 bedrooms each have a comfortable king-size bed. Dining area, living area and kitchen all work well together. Plenty of electrical sockets and the lighting is just right. We loved our one-week stay in September and will hopefully return.

The pictures and display articles are lovely. Much careful thought has been given to the provision of the excellent equipment including books and games for rainy days. The lack of a separate handrail, apart from the banister, made negotiating the twisting stairs to the second floor difficult for a person with even slight mobility issues.

It is above Rockfish, but despite the restaurant being busy most days we were there, we didn't hear any noise - apart from the sound of gulls! The flat has been tastefully modernised and is well-appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. Both bedrooms have comfortable, king-size beds and sufficient storage. There is a good size bathroom with a powerful rain shower and plenty of hot water. The kitchen area is fairly small, but well-equipped. The lock on the outside door is rather complicated and took some getting used to, but we managed to get the hang of it by the end of our stay. We would be very happy to stay in the property again.

Also perfect for a spot of evening fishing and enjoying chats with passers by. We found the property to be very well equipped (Gordon Ramsey would want for nothing in the kitchen!), clean and beautifully decorated. The car park voucher is a gem, although we were able to park outside the apartment on several occasions Had a wonderful week enjoying the relaxed pace of life in Dartmouth and the surrounding area. The street front door lock has an unusual locking device (detailed and simple instructions in the apartment) and whilst we mastered it, the occupants of flat downstairs didn't. So we sometimes found the door unlocked, but it wasn't obvious to passers by. However the apartment door has a secure lock on it anyway, so we never felt unsafe. Great touch that the agent both rang and emailed during the stay to check everything was okay. Already looking to book for next year.

Property very well equipped, and all of a good standard. Some more information of facilities such as Waste disposal unit (couldn't find how to operate this - couldn't get rid of small items we had rinsed into it), bathroom floor heating, bathroom mirror light (found how to operate on last day, by trial & error. People may want to be informed there is a bottle bank for re-cycling located in the main car park. Finally, when arriving at the property, the directions say that "The apartment is located above Rockfish restaurant on the right hand side." Actually, the entrance door is on the left hand side (facing) and has a number 8 above the door. This would be helpful to know, as it is difficult to park outside and being able to quickly identify where the entrance is would be beneficial.

It is incredibly well furnished and the kitchen is stocked with all the items you need and more. There was only 2 of us staying but the apartment could easily cater for 6 if there were more beds! The bed was really comfy and the bedding was of high quality. The location is amazing, we often got take out and sat on the balcony to eat rather than in the restaurants on the street below as the view from the apartment was better than if you were sat in them. We also never heard noise from the apartment or restaurant below which was something we were concerned about before we arrived. The parking permit was also extremely useful and could be used in some other car parks nearby to Dartmouth which was great. The only very minor comment I would make is that when we arrived the hot water had been turned off so the shower was cold. Once we’d figured out this was it we didn’t have any more problems but I’d suggest that the hot water is left on for future guests. Overall, a great stay and we’d love to come back again in the future!

The kitchen was really well kitted out and everything needed was provided. The sitting room and dining area had stunning views. We loved being in the middle of the town and only took the car out once or twice in week. The walks from Dartmouth and Kingswear were wonderful. However we would comment on the shower which isn't really fit for purpose. Two issues: one already commented on by others is the lack of a shower cubicle/ door. The water runs all over the bathroom floor even with care using curtain. In addition it is fine having a large shower head above but no alternative lower shower head so hair wash necessary with every shower.

The flat could do with a fan in each bedroom during the summer and there were no tongs in the kitchen. The bathroom is built to a luxury standard but it has a poorly fitted shower curtain that causes water to leak all over the bathroom floor. Apart from these issues, we had a lovely stay and the flat was in a great location with lovely views of the river. The parking permit was very useful not only in Dartmouth but also when we visited Slapton beach. Close to the co-op, takeaways, pubs and restaurants.
