“Cosy well equipped cottage in a central location.”

Parking at rear was a bonus. Only downside - no view - but compensated by proximity to Market Square.

The central location was great and the courtyard parking was very convenient. Probably limited to a mid-sized car as very narrow access.

A bulb was out above the bathroom wash basin which made the room seem a bit dark as no windows. The parking at the rear was very tricky to access as it was basically just alley way width. For the rental price that is being charged, we think the owners could provide a better TV service, as we only pay £55 per month ourselves for Sky multi room & movies.

Excellent base with everything you need. Only negative was that the pub opposite was very noisy with people leaving and making a racket shouting etc across the square late into the night!

“Superb property has everything you need.”

.. no 7 has some new additions to the property .. new lighting upstairs ,, new oven ,, new heating control which made the property warmer (the week we were there it was quite cold,) Last but not least a new small decked area outside the kitchen with new table and chairs ( although wasn’t able to make good use of them due to the cold weather!) We have stayed here many times and look forward to celebrating our anniversary here , provisionally booked again for next year!

“Perfect location, extra bonus of parking.”

Great little house for us family of four, made our holiday extra brilliant! Only upset was not being able to recycle all possible household waste, only bottles and paper at local recycling point. Please arrange something to change this as it was heartbreaking to landfill potential recyclables all week.

It is possible to collect keys at a time to suit you should you be arriving later than our normal office hours. We do have a late collection key safe available for this purpose and would be pleased to make provision for you, if required, during your next stay - just contact the office by telephone or email. “Nice cottage excellently situated in Dartmouth and level with the harbour so no steep hills to climb.”

The parking was very tight so it would have been better if this was mentioned in the description

“Have stayed here several times now .”

... We love the property especially as some improvements have been made feels like home from home now! Good location, particularly if it's raining not far from food or beverage supplies ! (Or pubs) Great advantage having parking facility we have only expierenced one problem with roller door to courtyard on the day we were leaving! ( unfortunately we managed to get the door open I was hoping to be staying there longer) Will be booking no7 again.!

“What a gem of a cottage ,perfect for a much needed weeks rest and relaxation.”

We have stayed here before but so look forward to coming here. The new owners keep adding small changes , including hand wash by the sink and basin .. not a major addition granted but great to wash hands as soon as you arrive. We cooked in a lot this time, courtesy of M&S dine in for 2 meals ecellent range of equipment supplied in the cottage Will be rebooking !

“This would have been a five star but for the outside space which we did not think was usable in reality.”

Apart from the fact that seagulls are constantly circling and leaving their mark(!), the yard is pretty unattractive and not a pleasant space to sit. The cottage itself is lovely and very well equipped. Comfortable and in an excellent position for everything. We loved it and felt properly at home!

The property

Located in the historic naval town of Dartmouth, 7 Charles Street is a tastefully furnished cottage within easy, level access to the town’s shops, galleries, pubs restaurants and iconic waterfront where guests can partake in local boat trips, crabbing and sightseeing.

Entering straight from Charles Street this cottage has a light open-plan ground floor with stylish wooden flooring.

The lounge has a comfy sofa suite and a wall mounted television and extends into a well equipped, modern kitchen area with a four-person dining table, a range of appliances and a door out to terrace and parking area.

From the lounge a flight of stairs lead up to the bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor.

The two double bedrooms, both of which are carpeted, feature wall mounted televisions and plenty of storage.

The master bedroom has a King-size bed and views over Dartmouth market whilst the second bedroom is a double.

There is also a tiled family bathroom on the first floor.

Outside 7 Charles Court is a delightful small terrace with a table and four chairs for guests to enjoy a spot of summer dining or a bit of relaxation. Guests have free use of the Dart Marina Health Spa including steam room, swimming pool and gymnasium in addition to the other leisure facilities.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular sandy beaches are a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
