  • "A well positioned, clean and comfortable apartment."

    Our only problem was that the hot water system failed about two days before our holiday concluded due to a defective part and the repair couldn’t take place until after we left the property. That said the agent was able to get us permission to use the shower of the property above. Which whilst not ideal obviously helped us continue our stay. A big thanks to the member of staff who made the arrangement and we look forward to our next holiday in Dartmouth next year

    Comfortable king size bed, good shower, well-equipped kitchen for 2 (could do with more or better quality glasses), and good TV set up. Lacked little extras eg loo rolls (only 1), bin bags (only 1), kitchen roll, coat hooks etc

  • "We have stayed in this apartment on a number of occasions."

    The views and location are excellent. However the decor is in need of some upgrading now and the chair and sofa are not very comfortable. The accommodation is ideal for a couple but we note that the price has gone up quite considerably. Not sure if this is because Sykes have now taken over from Coast and Country Cottages. There were no welcoming touches i.e pack of biscuits or nice bottle of wine which we have had previously. We note that the previous owners of the property have now sold it and wonder if this has anything to do with any of the above comments.

  • "Fabulous little flat, perfect location within walking distance of the town and harbour."

    Parking can be a challenge but it was peak season so very busy. If you want to eat out you need to book well in advance of your stay as all the restaurants were fully booked for the whole week.

  • "The experience depends on who is in the flat above."

    The tenants at the end of our stay were much noisier and every time they walk the windows in our flat rattled. Also someone living/squatting in the closed church/restaurant ne t door parks his motor bike on the pavement directly under the window of the flat which is only single glazed and as he only seemed to use it at night that disturbed us too. The flat itself had everything you needed and was very nice just a shame it was not as peaceful as it could have been.

  • "This is a super little flat with a wonderful view."

    Ideal for a couple + a dog. Nice that it's on the ground floor and has everything you'd need for a stay. Our view was spoilt by a workman's van parking outside the front window day and night for nearly the whole week. This was such a shame as the view is really lovely. Whilst we weren't in the flat all day it was a shame that in the mornings and evenings we couldn't take in the view. If it hadn't have been for this I would have given this 5 stars. Dartmouth is a lovely place and we would definitely return.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October.
