  • "Excellent property !"

Very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped with quality products and furnishings. I gasped when I saw how many hangers were in the wardrobe. The terrace was a wonderful bonus with fabulous views. Very close to the centre of Dartmouth literally 2 minutes walk. We used the parking permit with no issues finding a space at all times. If you were worried about parking away from the property don’t be the car was very safe and if you were tactical you could park at the end of the car park and see your car from the terrace. Would definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.

  • "A lovely period cottage with beautiful decor and finishing touches."

Due to the design and size, a bit of a squeeze for 4 of us (two adults and two kids) for the whole week. But we managed ok. Having the bathroom downstairs wasn’t ideal but again, we managed. The cottage has everything you need and the terrace was welcomed as an added extra. The beds are super comfy, so we all slept well until the noisy seagulls woke us up every morning, which of course can’t be helped! Dartmouth is a great place, and some days we didn’t use the car as we could get to places by boat. Parking in the mayors car park with the permit went well, there was only one day we had to use the park and ride. Mostly, if you go out for the full day you can park fine when you return, but on this particular day we returned at lunch time and couldn’t get a space. There are so many places to visit (I’d recommend avoid Paignton though, it’s awful), great beaches, and nice places to eat in Dartmouth. My kids have become Rockfish obsessed! Thank you for our wonderful week away in Devon

  • "Pixie Cottage is just charming."

Tucked away from, but 2 minutes walk to, the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth. The proximity to the M&S Food Hall and all the other lovely independent shops and galleries was fantastic, but the house was beautifully calm and quiet (apart from the seagulls!) We particularly loved the terrace off the kitchen which is a real bonus in a townhouse. The cottage was immaculate and delightfully decorated with everything you could possibly need. The parking permit was especially useful and even in mid July we had no problems finding a space every day.

  • "There is nothing to complain about other than structural features of the house, which is entirely delightful."

Being a man of a certain age a downstairs loo is a pain, and being a man of a certain size, a double rather than a king size bed means cold feet, but these absolutely fall into the category of First World, Last Days of Rome style issues so not a word of grievance will pass my lips. We had an excellent week in a really lovely little house, so thanks.

  • "This was our second stay in Pixie Cottage over the Christmas period."

The cottage was decorated beautifully for the festive season, and was cosy and warm. The holiday company and owners were quick to help with any questions we had with the Hive heating, and we feel that the cottage is equipped over and above the usual standard. We managed to cook a full Christmas spread and found every utensil/pan needed and used the Bluetooth speaker for festive tunes too! The cottage is ideally situated a few minutes walk from all amenities and parking isn’t an issue in the central car park using the permit at this time of year. We love Dartmouth and have found this perfect little cottage to be so homely and welcoming! We will be back and more than happily recommend Pixie Cottage.

  • "Pixie Cottage is absolutely wonderful."

It has a charm and comfort that made us feel instantly relaxed and happy to be there. There are so many touches and attention to detail that makes it very special. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The terrace is wonderful, perfect for sunny breakfasts and all through the day. The cottage is in a superb location, a few minutes away from everything you need, all the shops (M&S food being a minute away) and cafes, the water front and gardens. It’s absolutely perfect, we had an amazing week and will definitely recommend and we hope to return again for another holiday. Thank you

  • "Pixie cottage was even nicer than the photographs suggest."

Although small in name and size the cottage was well kitted out with lots of thoughtful touches. Plenty big enough for two adults and two young children with aI lovely outside terrace space. The cottage is well located in the centre of town just a few quiet streets away from the main shopping areas. We thought the location was absolutely perfect. We thoroughly recommend the cottage and out with yourself as there is so much to do and it’s a really good place to explore South Devon and less than two hours drive from some of the big attractions in Cornwall.

  • "Pixie cottage is comfortable cozy and quaint."

There is a short twisting staircase to the first floor and two warm and comfortable bedrooms. The decor is tasteful and furnishings of a very good standard. We especially liked the galley kitchen which was fully equipt with everything we needed and the shower room was spacious and very modern. The patio area on the balcony was a little suntrap and would be lovely in the warm weather. The pub is literally a short walk down the road as is M & S food shop. Visitors to the cottage do require a good level of mobility due to the short but steep roads to access the property and down to Dartmouth and the nearby car park where you park your vehicle with a free permt parking arrangement, this was not a problem for us. We enjoyed walking around Dartmouth, and enjoyed visits to Brixham, Paignton, Torquay, Cockington and Blackpool Sands Beach. Thank you for a lovely property to stay in.

Perfectly located right in the heart of Dartmouth on a quaint little lane, a two minute stroll and you are in the middle of the town and all the attractions. The cottage and its terrace has been renovated to a very high standard and our stay was very comfortable. Its ideal for a couple or as we did a couple and two children. Dartmouth itself and the surrounding area made for a perfect family break, lots to do and a lovely part of the World. We will definitely be coming back.

  • "Beautifully renovated cottage in a perfect location, not too far up the hills and close to all the Dartmouth amenities."

Pixie Cottage is well appointed with everything you could need. Not really suitable for those with mobility issues due to steep stairs and downstairs shower room. Two bedrooms would sleep 4 but probably not big enough for 2 couples. Recently renovated to a very high standard, only thing I would do differently would be to include a bath but that's just me. Great location for town centre with M&S a couple of minutes walk away. Lots of pubs, restaurants, shops in Dartmouth to explore/sample. The walk to the castle is worth the effort and if you're fit there's a circular walk taking in the coast path that looks good and starts from the castle. We were there in November which was great. Not sure if we'd like to be there in the height of summer when I guess parking may be difficult but we'll definitely be going back again.
